MY REVIEW
Summary:
Mercy, after her mother dies she knows that she needs to find some work, so she finds a position as a governess with the only staff as retired soldiers....oh boy...Mercy has no idea what she has gotten herself into. Mercy however is charmed by her young charge, a shy and reserved girl who has recently lost both her parents and now lives with a uncle who has barely spoken a word to her. In the beginning when Mercy arrives, there is a spark between herself and Nash her employer, and after they share a sizzling kiss that could curl ones toes, she just knows that she could be in trouble thats for sure....for she knows there can never be a happy ending for her if she falls in love with Nash...

The Hero (Nash Ferris)
Nash Ferris, after losing both his brothers and is now responsible for the Title and must repair his home which is little more than a crumbling pile of stones, and try to find someone to marry with a fortune because if he doesn't he will be left destitute, and now he is responsible for his niece who acts like a skittish mare around him and he knows the moment her governess shows up that she will be his downfall...

The Heroine (Mercy Franklin)
Mercy grew up in a strict home, as her guardians were the Reverand and his wife when she was abandoned as a baby, and even though she is very innocent she also feels a smoldering fire that starts to burn within her when she comes face to face with Nash and when she feels the touch of his kiss she knows she must be careful not to turn wanton as her guardians warned her not to be claiming that her mother was...however she can't resist the burning desire that courses through her veins when she is in close proximity to Nash.

My Thoughts
There are some books I enjoy from this author and others I don't like very much and I have to say that this is one of her books I liked the least. I felt as I was reading it that it felt choppy and not put together and flowed smoothly as I though it could have been. Although I did like the plot and story line well enough, I felt I had to force myself to get through it and I didn't enjoy reading this book much, and I honestly thought I would really love it. I just have always loved historical romances that deal with governess however I found myself tempted to skim the pages but I wanted to give it a good shot....even though there were small parts I enjoyed it just wasn't enough to be a average read for me. I am usually not very strict when it comes to books...but when I read a book that I have to force myself to read and it takes me some time that it just isn't worth reading. Although I would still recommend read this author on occasion since some of her books are quite well written but this one just wasn't enough for me....

My Review
Virgin Slave, Barbarian King is the first book that I have read by this author and is a roman historical romance. There are too many books that take place in that time period, so I just had to read this and its was short but a sweet romance that left me wishing it was a bit longer. From the first minute they encounter one another, Wulfric is so good to Julia, even though she is at times a wildcat, which is understandable given the circumstances...but I just fell in love with Wulfric who was very patient yet firm, and who is very loyal to those he cares for. It was such a delight to take the first seat on this adventure and I hope to read more from this author. I loved her style of writing and the way you see Julia and Wulfric connect....definitely worth reading!!! Just loved it!

Only once Caityln arrives things just go from average to worse, her life is in danger, the wedding has been delayed, and she knows she is in love with a man that can never love her in return...

The Hero (Connor MacKiernan)
Connor, lives only for duty and honor to his king. Connor is a descendent of the Fae, and he is desperate to save his sister even to go to the future and marry a woman who is a complete stranger to free his sister. Even though he doesn't trust any women since he fully believes all they want is money until he meets Caitlyn who is very very different from the women he knows. And even though he tells himself he can't ever love her, his heart starts to soften toward her even when there is a danger that is surrounding him and all those he cares about.

The Heroine (Caitlyn Coryell)
Ever since Caitlyn got engaged, she knew there was something off with her fiancee, and as the date to her wedding gets even closer and then when she finds the truth about him, she is shocked to the core, and when she leasts expects it she finds the man that she really loves only he lives in Scotland 1200A.D, but she is willing to do whatever it takes to hold on to true love.

My Thoughts
Thirty Night with a Highland Husband is the first that I have read by this author and I can hardly wait to read more by this author. I have heard some good things, but I didn't know if I would like her books, and now I know that I really love her style of writing. This story was charming and tender and I will admit I got a tad emotional at times. This book has such a magical touch to each page that I couldn't escape from the pages and I just fell in love with Connor and Caitylyn, I also have a love for time travel romances and this one tops the list in my book!!!

Summary:

On her first day she meets Ian, who reminds her of a conan the scottish highlander only way more sexy, and ever though her body is scarred and feels like less of a woman, he makes her feel more feminine and sensual than she has ever felt in her life and even though she has only known him for a small amount of time she feels herself falling into whirlwind of love, danger and excitement she has never known....

The Hero (Ian MacKeage)
Ian, recently returned from Iraq, is starting to take his place to take over the resort, and spending way too much on the mountain trying to ignore his detiny, that is until Jessie came walking straight into his life and into his heart. At first he doesn't know what to do with her, but all he knows is that she is His and he plans on keeping her forever...

Jessie, although well loved by her family and good friends, still sufferes from the past. Jessie was once married but was attacked...an attack she doesn't remember only that she is very scarred and doesn't know if she will ever be able to find a man that will truly love her for who she is on the inside....when she finds the resort in Maine, she knows its for her and that her destiny lays there in that small yet unique mountain town.....

My Thoughts
Highlander For The Holidays was just an amazing read and once I returned from the library it was the first book that I could hardly wait to pick up....Janet Chapman has to be one of my favorite authors now especially since I think I have read all of her books now...I think....Highlander For The Holidays was so firmly packed full of everything that makes a great romance and even though it wasn't my favorite it definitely was a fantastic read. One of the things I truly loved about this book was how Jessie is amazing in the inside and even though she is scarred on the outside Ian still thinks she is sexy and beautiful and I just love that. And any of you that have read this book know exactly what I mean. Although the ending wasn't what I expected and disappointed me a bit....it still had a great romantic effect. A Winner!!

The Heroine (Moira MacAllister)
Moira, although she is beautiful and grew up with gypsies who taught her everything that she knows...is at a loss on how or when she will get her daughter back, a daughter that she would sacrifice everything that she has for her safe return. But when Robert is back into her life and everything seems to be going downhill she starts to realize that the love she once had for Robert is brighter and stronger than ever as they work together to get their daughter back.

My Thoughts
A Most Dangerous Profession is the third installment in this exciting series by Karen Hawkins. I have to say this would have to be one of my top favorite series done by this author. There was such intrigue, passion, danger and excitement and fully packed with enough love story to last one quite some time. The one aspect that I truly enjoyed was the 'secret baby' theme, I just love reading those theme like romances, especially it exceeds your expectations....Moira has just cracked me up through the whole book, and Robert was pretty swell....and the little daughter was as cute as can be....I found myself totally engrossed in the story and the details painted so vividly that one couldn't help but fall in love. A Treasure to be savored and enjoyed.

Summary:
Alexandra, is desperate to escape her cruel stepfather who beats her, she finds a way to escape with a disguise never expecting to be kidnapped and taken aboard a pirate's ship. Only they think she is a daughter of a lord so they can ransom her, but no matter how much she protests they don't believe her to be a seamstress. Nathaniel, is very bitter toward his father, but when one of his closest friends gets captured he goes out to capture his father daughter, and his step sister....only he never expected that he would be so attracted to a relation, but something nags at him, that she is not at all who she appears to be and that she is hiding something, and that this increasing desire that he has for her might just inflame them both...

The Hero (Nathaniel Kent)
When Nathaniel was born, one of his arms were deformed at birth and his father tried to have him killed, but his nurse saved his life that night and ever since then his father has rejected him and Nathaniel has seeked for revenge and justice. When his friend gets captured he decided to take his step sister and trade her only he never expected the tender feelings she brings out in him...

Alexandra, has been wanting to leave her step father for quite some time now, but never thought in her plan of leaving that she would be kidnapped and assumed for someone else. But as time goes on aboard the pirate's ship she stops trying to convince them of her true identity knowing they will eventually find out...but the one thing she can't ignore though is the desire she feels for Nathaniel despite the fact that he kidnapped her from her only chance at freedom, but wonders if her growing love for Nathaniel is her true freedom....

My Thoughts
This is the first book that I have read by Brenda Novak and I just fell in love with this book, and I want to read more by this author....the synopsis and the cover are what drew me to open the pages, but once I really got into the story I could barely put it down and found entranced by the amazingly written love story of two people that come from different situations in life however they share one thing... a common love and desire for each other. Of Noble Birth is of the Georgian Time period and is packed with excitement, adventure, passion, and a intense love story that will leave you with delight.

My Thoughts
Scandal In Scotland is the second installment in the series and even though there were many moments that I immersed myself in, it was probably my least favorite so far. There were many elements to the book that I really enjoyed. I loved the interaction between the two main characters, the plot was full of excitement and ups and down that can make your head spin. The one thing I would wish was different was the flow, it was uneven and I just felt like it could have been a bit smoother and then it would have been perfect. Overall it was a delicious treat to be savored!!!

Summary:
After Mary's mother dies and she and her three sisters are left with their stepfather who wants to sell them, she takes herself and her sisters to seek refuge from their grandfather who is a Earl in England. Upon arriving however things are not what they expect, finding out their grandfather has passed away and they need to seek refuge from a cousin who is the current Earl of Stewkesbury. At first Mary is reluctant to do all that is required, to accept everything that are given to them because of their connection to the Earl. However she knows that she needs to do what is best for her and her sisters and their future. Sir Royce Winslow, when first seeing Mary and her sisters is very doubtful of their true identity, for they are a bit wild and nothing like any ladies he has ever met before. When the true identity is confirmed he is around Mary more and more, and he feels a pulling force toward Mary and her fiery spirit. But when danger comes lurking around the sisters, Royce is more protective of Mary than ever, and as desire sparks between Royce and Mary so does Love, and even though he has never wanted marriage before now he realizes that he does with only One woman....

The Hero (Royce Winslow)
Royce, although he is more of a distant relation to the Earl, and is a bit bitter about family matters, but when he meets Mary he is around his family even more than usual. Royce we see in the beginning is very stubborn and pig headed at times, but can also be a man of protective nature. Even though he refuses to marry, and has had his heart broken once, thinking he could never love again....he realizes that love will sneak up on you without one realizing it, and his heart begins to open to Mary's love.

The Heroine ( Mary Bascombe)
Mary, grew up in a loving home, with parents that loved and cherished each other deeply. My Thoughts
Its been quite some time since I have read Candace Camp, and so when I read the blurb on A Lady Never Tells I knew I just had to read it, and the cover definitely drew me in. A Lady Never Tells is the first installment of one of her more recent series, and I think from the first page I just fell in love with each and every one of the characters. Especially the sisters, they were charming and made me wish I had such sisters, that way I would never ever be bored. Even though I haven't read many books from this author, I always enjoy her stories, and they always tend to make me fall madly in love with plot and characters. One of my favorite things about A Lady Never Tells is how delectable it was, the characters beyond endearing and the plot utterly delightful!!! Just LOVED It!!!

My Thoughts
Just Like Heaven is the first in the Quartet series and I have always had a love for Julia Quinn. I have to say though at the beginning I had a hard time getting into the story, but thankfully as things started to get Really interesting, I started to get really into the story and the characters. I really liked how both Marcus and Honoria have known each other since childhood, and somehow that friendship turns into something way more than either would have expected. It was fun to see the different mishaps that put these two together. Although this book is far from my favorite of Julia Quinn's, I still really enjoyed it and I would recommend it to any romance lover.....

I would have to say that I just love those with a inner resilience and strength and can handle just about anything that is thrown at them including a alpha male....For heroines I love both spitfires and the more gentle types that still fight for what they want but not in such a dramatic way. Some of my favorite books are with characters that have many flaws but have just as many strengths and come out winning in the end.

The Heroine (Tess Alexander)
When Tess lost her sister, she felt like she was grieving, but she still had some family left, a wonderful job and career with something she loves, a scholar of medieval history, and lives in a medieval castle, life couldn't be better....until she meets John and her whole life gets topsy turvy and now she doesn't have any idea what she is doing, until she finds him at her side more than not, and the more she gets to know him the more she wonders if destiny has a hand in the situation she finds herself in and she knows she can easily fall in love with John just like her sister did his brother.

My Thoughts
Its been a while since I have read a book from this author and from this series, and now I just want to read all the books in the series again. I have read the earlier books, but none of the recent ones, and after reading One Magic Moment, I now want to read all the others. From the first page I was completely drawn into the story. I Loved Loved Loved these two characters, it was pretty humorous to watch these two fumble through this little romance and courting they have going on. In the beginning we see that they don't really care much for one another, but the more they are in each others companies, they start to form a powerful bond to each other, and I just had to sigh almost every chapter after that. I definitely loved the plot as well, in the beginning it seemed like it would be just a romance, but there definitely was a danger element that was added. One Magic Moment would have to be on the top of my life of time travel romances, right below Brenda Joyce's. Although this doesn't have much intimacy in the book, which is standard with this author. However I did love the romance level in this novel, not steamy by any means, but I fell in love with it all the same!!!

Summary
Katherine, after being in the convent for years and not having heard from her family, decides to leave knowing all she wants is a husband and children. So when she leaved and gets on a ship on her way to Ireland, back home, the ship is captured by pirates and she is a prisoner of Liam O'Neill, the pirate captain, who refuses to let her go. Katherine refuses to give in to the feelings and the desire she starts to feel for Liam, knowing she deserves more than to be a mistress to a pirate, that she deserves love, marriage and a family of her own. Liam is the king of Games, and ever since he first saw Katherine, he knew he would keep her, and even though he has a secret cause he will do everything he can to Win!

The Hero (Liam O'Neill)
Liam is half english and half irish, his father being a ruthless lord, his mother helpless to do anything to protect herself or her children. So Liam learned at a young age how to protect himself, and to never give in, no matter the risk or the cost. When Liam see's Katherine, he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her in his life even at the risk of pain and death. Katherine is His and will even break the rules of his own game to keep her by his side.

The Heroine (Katherine FitzGerald)
Katherine, is desperate to get away from the convent, not knowing what has really happened to her family, so when she is captured by the pirate captain, she is most resistent and in the beginning refuses to give in to the feelings that she has for him. However as she starts to find the truth about her family and what has been happening since she has been in the convent, the feelings she has for Liam start to increase, and even though at times she feelings like she should strangle him, she also can't deny that she loves him.

My Thoughts
The Game is the 4th in the de Warrenne series, and I have always enjoyed Brenda Joyce and all of her books for the most part, and even though this was a bit longer, it was still a enjoyable read but far from my favorite of her books. The one thing that I really loved about this story, was how there was always a surprise at the next turn of the plot, something I would have never expected to happen, and left me excited to see what would happen next. The title for the book "The Game" is perfect, and fits it with exactness. The characters were fascinating to get to know. Liam would just make me laugh at times, and other make me want to hug him, and other I wanted to throttle him. Katherine however, it took me a while to really warm up to her, she seemed a bit selfish and naive especially in the beginning, but she grew on me as the story started to really develop. Overall it was a really enjoyable read with lots of intrigue and mystery, romance and passion and series of events that might just make your head spin!!

After traveling long hours and when she finds the Earl of Erroll, he is less than understanding to her 'story' and goes about and keeps her prisoner in his castle. Angus, although he is tempted to believe Mary, he knows that there is someone that is after the priceless artifact and he must be a hundred percent Mary is who she says she is, and knows that keeping her here until he can bring a colleague of his to confirm her identity is the only way. What Angus never imagined was the intense connection that flares between them with just one kiss, and he knows that he must never give in, because if he does than he will fall for her...hard

The Hero (Angus Hay, Earl of Erroll)
Angus, although he is very wealthy, is secluded and lives in a remote castle in Scotland. After losing his beloved wife to a fire that destroyed part of his home, and being scarred himself he knows he doesn't have a choice but living a secluded life, with his cousin, continuing on with his work, dealing with precious artifacts. When Mary shows up his life goes upside down and part of him wants to resist her, and then there is a part of him that wants to give in to the passion that fires up whenever she is near.

The Heroine (Mary Hurst)
Mary, upon receiving a letter informing her of her brother's situation she knows that she must save his life and do all that she can to get her hands on the artifact. Mary, even though her sisters have been in love and married, it has never happened for her, and now when she meets Angus, she is unexplainably drawn to him and even though he is keeping her prisoner she also finds herself falling for her captor.

My Thoughts
One Night in Scotland is the first book in the Hurst Amulet series, and I have always loved her books and this was pretty amazing, not my favorite of hers, but enthralling and was like many of her other books where it just draws you into the story vividly. One of the things that I loved about this book is how perfect both Mary and Angus seem to be for each other, even though there are some pretty heated arguments, and violent tantrums that just made me laugh, and think 'oh boy, I hope I never meet a man that makes me want to sing like a banchee or an opera singer just to get his attention'. Although once I really got into the, I started to find myself really enjoying the story, the characters, the plot and the amusing interaction between the characters, that made it a fun tale of romance with a hint of mystery that will make you not want to put the book down and keep on reading until the sun goes down.

MY REVIEW
Summary:
Eden and Izzy once fell in love with each other, and even though they are married, are on the brink of a divorce. Since Izzy only married Eden because she was pregnant and he wanted to do the right thing, and then she miscarried and they serparated and lost in touch...until now...until a danger threatens the Gillman family, that would only bring Eden and Izzy closer together. Then we have Danny and Jenn, who fell in love in the previous books, but Jenn felt like they needed more than a few days to realize they love each other, however when Danny gets injured in a bomb blast, she starts to realize what is really important in life...and she knows that her life would never be fully complete without Danny in her life.

The Heroes (Danny Gillman and Izzy Zinella )
Danny and Izzy have really been mortal enemies ever since they met each other...Danny left his family when he was seventeen to join the Navy, and even though he has had some involvement he starts to come to the fact that he should have been there for Eden and his younger brother, who are both now in deep trouble, and only with him and Izzy's help will they be able to help them against a threat they don't see coming until its almost too late.

The Heroines (Jenn and Eden)
Jenn, even though she is recovering from a troubling childhood, she has overcome it and has learned to live a normal life, however she never thought she would be good enough for Danny. Eden, has suffered much in her young life, and no one apart from Ben her younger brother has ever really been on her side. Now with Ben's life in danger, these two couples will band together to fight the evil that threatens them...

My Thoughts
Breaking The Rules would have to be one of my favorite books in the series so far!!! Ever since I read the lates one Hot Pursuit, we see the romance that blossoms between Jenn and Danny, and ever since then I have been aching for their continued story...so I was having such fun reading their love story....then Izzy and Eden....oh Izzy has always made me laugh as we have seen him throughout the series and I was glad and hoping to see these two end up together..finally... they sure have had a rough time of it. However combined with two remarkable love stories that we see in this novel, there is fast paced action and so much intrigue and suspense it just might blow you away. I know it took everything I had just to sit back and listen to this story and not skip ahead, I felt like I was at the edge of my seat 90 percent of the time. But I was ended up feeling fully satisfied in the end...A Intense Read that I Just Fell In Love With!!!!! A Jewel! (FYI- For those of you who haven't read this series and wonder if you can read it out of order...you can but I wouldn't recommend it...I would recommend you read this series in order if you can, that way you won't feel confused at times. )

Erin, has been working for a Medical Center, and even though she enjoyed the benefits they had offered, when she realized that her boss was involved in several murders of innocent people, and she a witness, she fled, and is now on the run. Then her car collides with a hideous beast, but she is saved by a wolf. Then the next morning she awakes to find herself still with her car, and sleeping next to a gorgeous but very nude stranger, and this is only the beginning of the wierdness she will experience on this rocky journey with Jared. Jared is one of the Shadowmen who protect the Elan, who are in dangerous from evil creatures...and since he was injured by one of these foul creatures, he can feel the evil infection spreading throughout his body, and the only one who relieves the pain he feels is Erin's touch, but he knows that he is only a danger to her, and must end his life before he ends up killing her....

The Hero
Jared, is protector of the innocent, a shape shifter, and has sworn to protect the Elan who are in danger, from that which is most evil in the world. However when he tries to protect Erin, he is distracted because she sees him which most mortals can't see his kind, and then he gets injured and is turned mortal since he is infected with a evil, that is spreading throughout him, a bloodlust for the blood of the one woman who could be his salvation...

The Heroine
Erin Morgan, was shocked to see four dead people in work that day. After working for the medical center for months now, she never imagined what she would see, and now she is on the run with no where to go, until strange things happen and her life collides with a stranger, who could be the most dangerous threat of all, but the passion flares between them, which could be more dangerous that that threat he poses to her life...

My Thoughts
Touch A Dark Wolf, is the first in the Shadowmen Series, and the first book that I have read from this author. I didn't know from reading the blurb if I would really get into this book...however I really did. Although it was by far from my favorite shape shifter romance...it definitely had the suspense and fast paced action that I thoroughly enjoy in a good romance every now and then. It definitely reeks of enough danger to send one self careening over the edge, Such heart stopping moments up and down throughout the story. I sometimes felt like I was on a rollercoaster with this one....but in a good way. Its been a while since I have read a book with such intense emotion portrayed. I admit I was close to tears toward the end, not really knowing what would happen, but it ended on a happy note and I was fully satisfied! Definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Summary:
Jane, fell in love with Hugh, but who broke her heart when he just abandoned her with no goodbye. Now many years later he has reentered her life once more, insisting that because she is in danger she must marry him with her father right behind him on it....so with not much choice she agrees. Hugh, even though it killed him inside when he had to leave her, he knew it was better that way because of the curse against his family. Now however because of a past friend going against everything he once believed in wants to kill Jane to get back to Hugh and her father, and Hugh still loves her with a desperated and will do everything he can to protect her...even though it may cost him his sanity and his heart...

The Hero (Hugh MacCarrick)
Hugh, has always been reminded of the curse against both himself and his two brothers. Even though he is a agent for the British Government, and has wealth, he knows he can only live his life alone, and give up the only woman he has ever truly loved. Jane is the core of Hugh, and when they have to get married so he can protect her, he knows that he is in deep trouble because the passion that flames up between them both may engulf him.

The Heroine (Jane Weyland)
Jane, growing up always had love in her family, and even though she lost her mother, she has a good relationship with her father, or she so believes. Jane when she was young, fell madly for Hugh, but then he disappeared with no word and no goodbye which hurt most of all. Now he is back into her life when she had just started to move on with her life, and is put in a situation where she knows her heart may get broken for a second time.

My Thoughts
If You Desire is the second in the MacCarrick trilogy, and by far my favorite of the series. When I first started reading this book, I kept hoping that it would be as good as I had heard about, but after read the first in the series and being disappointed I didn't want to get my hopes too high. However, I think I just fell in lust/love with If You Desire. I would have to say the best of the series!!! I loved the story of this series...where you have two people who have fallen in love with each other before but both ended up hurt, but find themselves in close proximity to each other again and this time the love they share is only magnified. There were so hilarious moments in this book...that had me unseated with laughter. The sensuality side of this story, was sexy and hott but not too much that turned me off...it was just perfect in my estimation. There was such delicious material in this book that it will leave you only earning for more!! A Tantalizing Read!!!!

Because not only is it forbidden to date Beau when it could easily get her fired from her job, and after having to protect her sister, she knows its very dangerous to get involved with Beau....but sometimes the way of the heart can get in the way of logic and reason...

The Hero (Beau Russell)
Beau, a were cougar, is the leader in his community, and above all looks out after the safety of those he is over. When he meets Bathsheba, he finds her unresistable even though she is a human, and everyone is shocked that he would even think of a atrocity, however, he can't stay away from her.....no matter the cost and will do everything in his power to keep her in his life.

The Heroine (Bathsheba Ward)
Bathsheba, unlike the hero in the book is human, and when her sister was involuntarily turned into a werewolf, has been on the run ever since. Knowing that if any wolf caught sight of who they really were, would definitely never let her sister go. So Bathsheba is currently working on a job that is a perfect cover, until Beau arrives on the scenes, and stirs up her every sense and before she realizes what is happening she is starting to fall for a man more dangerous and sensual that she could have imagined...

My Thoughts
Beauty Dates The Beast is the first in the Midnight Liasons series, and the first book by this author. I was at the bookstore...and the title just drew me especially since I have a weakness for shifter romances and I was thrilled after reading this book....definitely a high rater for me!!!! I think I loved pretty much everything about this book and I can hardly wait for the sequel. From the first few pages I was drawn completely into the story, and fell in love with Bethsheba and her sister, very endearing characters, and then the moment we see Beau....I think I fell in love with this hero.....breakthtaking and full of sensual promises and thrilling adventures....the plot was full of ups and downs and unexpected twists and turns that will take you on a breathtaking journey, and a beautiful love story that will pull at the very heart strings of every romance lover!!!! A MUST DIE FOR READ!!!!!

However what Court never expected was to start falling for beautiful Annalia, whose fiery spirit only increases his attraction to her...and before he knows it, he finds himself in love with her and willing to do whatever to make her happy.

The Hero (Courtland MacCarrick)
Court, along with his two brothers are cursed, and knows that it would be wrong to ever bind a woman to him...for it would only bring misery and pain. So he tries to maintain his distance from his siren of a captive, only the passion he feels for her in undeniable and he knows that she is slowly creeping into his heart and soul....and nothing can save him or her.

The Heroine (Annalia Llorente)
Annallia, has gone through much in her young life...but now her brother is the prisoner of a demented and very evil man, who would easily kill him. However when she finds a injured man, and takes him to her homes so he can recuperate, since her caring soul can't refuse someone injured....she never expected her life to take twists and turns as they do when she is near Court, but never thought that she would fall in love with the man who has taken her prisoner.

My Thoughts
If You Dare, is the first in the MacCarrick Brothers Series....and as much as I enjoyed If You Deceive, I had such a difficult time reading this one. I finished it for sure...but it did take a little while...and there was inconsistency throughout the whole story...I think if it had run more smoothly I may have enjoyed it more...however despite that the characters were at times likable but I had a hard time with Court and Annalia...it seemed like the whole story apart from the end was all about how they fight with each other, and I couldn't see how they could even fall in love with each other....but I did enjoy the ending most of all...however It was far from my favorite from this author...

Summary:
Gregori, VP of Marketing, and the most modern of all the vampires and most trusted, is the one chosen to go the President of the United States and convince him how harmless his people are and that they need them, but in return he wants Gregori to go on a very special mission with his daughter that could save his wife's life. Abby, is the only daughter of the president that has managed to remain unseen and hidden, a chemist and a scientist, she has been looking for a way to save her dying mother...and she thinks that there is a certain plant in China that could save her mothers life...but she would need a way to get in and out undetected. When all is revealed to her about Gregori, and they embark, they share a unrelenting passion for each other, and find a abiding love that will get them through thick and thin...and even the greatest danger that poses to her wont even compare with the dangerous desire she feels for Gregori "sexiest vampire alive"

Having been the daughter of a man who has always held his political career as upper importance, she has never wanted a part of it, so she has remained hidden. My Thoughts
The Sexiest Vampire Alive is the most current release in the Love At Stake series by one of my favorite paranormal authors. Ever since I have fallen in love with the first book I read from this author, I have just lusted after each of her novels...and this one is no different. It would probably be considered one of my favorites of the series so far....I just loved reading Gregori's story, after seeing what a charismatic devil he can be in the other books in the series...you see a deeper side to him, one that you just will fall for. The plot was exciting and thrilling and full of twists and curves that will delight you...but at the same moment surprise you when you least expect it to. My Thoughts
Her Dark Knight is the first book I have ever read from this author...and I just LOVED it!!! It has to be one of my favorite time travel books so far. There was such perfect mix of romance, mystery, intrigue and great story telling that just pulled at my heartstrings throughout the whole book. From the first to last page I think I fell in love with the characters, the story, and the chemistry that you see build between these two that is purely magical. I couldn't put it down, not for one nano second, I was so charmed by everything in this book! I am looking forward to reading more from this author, her style of writing flowed smoothly throughout the story, and the whit and humor was sparkling and entertaining....A Must Read For Romance Lovers!

MY REVIEW

So This is the first time in a very long time since I had such a hard time reading a book, especially with such a gorgeous cover and great blurb that just caught my attention. However this review will be shorter than most because I was unable to finish it. At the first few pages it caught me but after that it just went downhill after that...I got halfway through which took me a whole week to do since it just didn't get to me....I was unable to get into the story no matter how hard I tried. I always try to finish a book if I can, however with this one it was a chore to read it....and when it becomes hard to read a book and if I give it a chance (100 pages or more) than I will just put it down...since there are always more books I want to get to as well. I feel bad that I was unable to finish this one...maybe one day I will try reading it again...who knows. But for me I just was unable to get involved into the story (which is a rare occasion its true) and I really though I would love this story after reading the synopsis...but unfortunately that was untrue...maybe one day in the future..................

I would have to say that there isn't anyone I personally am close to that is in the military...so I will have to go to the fictional side of things. I would say that Lawrence Decker or Sam Starret from the Troubleshooter series by Suzanne Brockmann is my favorite military series of all time, part of a SEAL team who continually risk their lives and that of their families for their country. :)

Summary:
Megan McKeage went to work on the Canadian Tundra and met a Wayne Ferris where she fell in love only to have her heart broken by him, and now pregnant and returned back to her family, is determined to start a new and fresh start with her child. Only things hardly go as planned, especially if your from the MacKeage Clan. Then the new chief of police Jack Stone, she finds out in a unexpected way, is the same man as Wayne...and now after just buying a home for herself she has no idea what to do. Megan knows that she can't trust Wayne/Jack, because he hurt her once, and he definitely could do it again. Jack, still feels guilt over the way he had to hurt Megan, but he is a private eye, and had to keep who he was a secret, and when Megan was in danger he did the only thing he could in order to protect her...but at what cost?? Can Megan and Jack look past the hurt and betrayal to find and hold onto their love once more?....

The Hero (Jack Stone)
Jack has had a lonely life, after losing his parents at a young age, and running from foster homes, he has had to learn to survive. Now he is established in a career that keeps him fulfilled and one that helps kids that he feels a connection to, because he was once like them, who didn't have anyone to turn to. Then when investigating a runaway, he starts to fall in love with Megan, whose sweet spirit pulls him in, and he will do everything he can to protect her no matter the price...even if that means losing her in the end.

The Heroine (Megan MacKeage)
Megan, is one of the daughters of Greyland and Grace, whom we see in {Charming The Highlander (1)} and when she went to escape from her family for once...she thought that she had found a man to love and have a family, one whom would be happy when she got pregnant, but then he rejected her and she went back to the loving warmth of her family. When she is faced with him again...she has no idea what to do to keep from getting hurt again. She wants to believe his reasons aren't lies, but are truth, but only time will tell.

My Thoughts
Secrets Of The Highlander is the sixth in the Highlander series. After reading Megans' parents book I was excited to read her book, and I have just loved this series so far...and each book that I read I only want to read this author more and more. I feel like I am practically addicted to her writing and her stories, and I just can't get enough of them....definitely a well worth it read to be sure. Secrets of the Highlander is one of those romances that just pulls at your heart, I felt a kinship with Megan, and was on her side most of the time...because even though Jack is trying to protect her....he definitely needs to work for it to get her trust back...and I was entertained seeing him try....I just loved the wit and humor that is in this book...there were parts that I just burst out in laughter...and those of you who have read this book know exactly what parts I am talking about (LOL) and those that haven't well...you just need to read this series and you will laugh your heart out....but I did love the romantic side to the story as well...the wit I found was a perfect balance with the love story and with a spice of mystery and some fast paced action. There was such pure pleasure in reading Secrets Of The Highlander and I am thrilled to have found a new favorite author.

Summary:
Libby Heart, a surgeon in California, discovers that there is something going on with her, she is able to heal others with a touch of her hands, so she goes to the other side of the country to get some clarity, and ends up crashing into a pond, and is rescued by a breathtaking highlander, who sets her teeth on edge. Michael is trapped with the 'moderns' in a century he doesn't understand after being brought here by a wizard, whom messed up his spell bringing other highlanders with him. After loving and losing two women, he doesn't know if he can trust another to give his heart to, but with his eight year old son's influence, Michael will start to realize that when you find someone to hold onto you fight to be with her forever.

Michael, was brought into the modern century by a wizard with fellow clan members and enemy clan highlanders from eight hundred years previous. Where Michael lost a woman he loved, and then fell in love a second time with a modern woman, but ended up losing her too but gained a son who he wouldn't trade anything for. Now he has met Libby, who brings out a intensity in him and he can't resist her and finds that he is falling hard and fast.

The Heroine (Libby Hart)
Libby, has just discovered that she is like her grandmother, with a gift that no one could ever understand, only view her as crazy. So she decides to leave a career she loves as a surgeon, and go to the other side of the country to Maine, feeling drawn to a certain house in the mountains there. Only she never imagined that she would meet her destiny, in a sexy yet infuriating highlander, who takes away every defense she has and she can't help but fall in love with a man who needs her just as much as she needs him.

My Thoughts
Wedding The Highlander is the third in this wonderful series, that I keep falling for over and over....Janet Chapman is a new favorite author. In a way her humor is similar to Sandra Hill, however there is still a serious tone to the story, and a tender romance in every story that will pull at the readers heart strings....After seeing Michel in the previous two books, I was excited to read his story. From the first book, my heart went out to this characters, and Chapman definitely fulfilled every wish for him....Wedding The Highlander was definitely a sparkling gem...I felt enchanted by the romance that builds between Libby and Michael, and his son Robbie will just make you smile, I think I just loved everything about this book, and there was still a good plot that will keep you flipping those pages as fast as you can read them....Definitely A 5 for me!!!!

After the encounter she is scared to death, and can't stop thinking about him, thinking him even though sexy as sin, is crazy and maybe not at all right in his head....Morgan when finding that Sadie is the one that will be wanting to put this beautiful forest and all its secret as part of a park, he wants to scare her off the land so she will never return but he never planned on her stubborness, or the intense desire he feels for her when he touches her, and wants to claim her as his own.

Morgan, with other members of his clan, was thrown from hundreds of years ago to the present, modern day. Morgan, will do everything he can to protect his land, even from gorgeous women who only get into trouble, no matter their good intentions. Sadie, has always felt guilt since the fire eight years previous, where her sister dies, and later from the effects of the fire her father. Sadie herself suffered burns on parts of her body, and feels like no man could consider her beautiful or sexy until she meets Morgan, who treats her scars as a part of her. Sadie feels overwhelmed by the feelings Morgan brings out in her, even knowing that building this park is what her father would have wanted, she knows that Morgan could be the key to truly accepting herself and being able to fully love someone with her full heart.

My Thoughts
Loving The Highlander is the second in the Highlander series, and I have just loved this series so far. I really Enjoyed this one as well, I think I enjoyed the first one a bit more, but this one was just as exciting and fun and full of witty repatore that could make you laugh over and over. I also loved the idea of the heroine, being not with perfect skin or a perfect body, that there were still some conflict between Sadie and Morgan, but it showed that love can truly overcome anything, and we see the hurdles they past together, and it was a truly magical read. I loved seeing the adventure, passion, fast paced action and the fun romance in Loving The Highlander! A Entertaining read!

Summary:

Now they are pushed together out of survival, but a deep passion is awakened between them...a passion that burns slowly to a deep love that will change their lives forever.....

The Hero (Greylen MeacKeage)
Grey, the leader of his clan, once lived eight hundred years ago, until in the midst of a battle, he and his men are taken to the future by a wizard, so that he can find his true love, since he would never be able to find her in his own time. Grey, has been in the modern century for four years, and has been adjusting pretty well as far as he is concerned. From the first moment he sees Grace, he finds her breathtakingly beautiful and will do everything he can to bind her to him so he can have her forever.

The Heroine (Grace Sutter)
Grace, is a scientist, and doesn't believe in anything magical or any superstitions of any sort. When her sister comes to her with a death bed wish, she knows she can do nothing but honor it. On her way in doing so, she meets with Grey, who is unlike any man she has ever met, his kisses as sweet as honey, yet as powerful as thunder, and he starts to slowly take over her senses..

My Thoughts
I have never read this author, but I was in the mood for some good highlander romance, and I decided that after hearing some great things from this author, I knew that I needed to try her out, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. I just got this book a few hours ago, and just finished, I was that drawn into Charming The Highlander. I think I loved everything about this book. I just love it when you have time travel books when dealing with sexy highlanders from the past....so yummy with the accent, attitude and their fiery passion for a woman they love. There were definitely many witty moments throughout the story that would make you bow over and laugh your heart out. The writing was charming and tended to draw the reader in from the first to the very last page of the book. I felt like I was actually there in the story...the scenes were so vivid in detail....definitely a keeper for me!!

Summary:
Ethan, was once handsome as sin until a nobleman had him tortured and scarred, which would change his life, and Ethan spent years feeling a lust for revenge. Now ten years later, he finds a beauty who enchants him and spending a magical night with her, he knows she could definitely break through the ice around his heart, until he finds out who she really is, the daughter of the nobleman that ordered his scarring, and has a plan for revenge, to make her fall for him, marry her and then cast her away from him in the end. Only things never go as planned when the heart is involved, and the more he goes after his plan, he starts to realize that they are perfect each other and he would rather cut his own face again over hurting her again...

Ethan, has been blistering with vengence for ten long years. When he sees Madeleine, he is utterly captivated, and is bewildered by it, because she isn't his usual type of woman. My Thoughts
If You Deceive is the third in the MacCarrick series, and I have read a book or two from this author but they were average liked reads, so I haven't read much from her since, but when I read a really good review of If You Deceive I knew I had to give her historical's a chance, and I think I just loved this one and I am much looking forward to reading the rest in the series. I loved how there were different twists and turns throughout the story that continued to surprise me at every turn....the passion and heat between Madeleine and Ethan was body tingling, and the fast paced action kept me in suspense. The writing in If You Deceive was tantalizing and drew the reader into her story with a superb talent that I hadn't experienced from this author...looking forward to reading more from her!! A Splendid Read!!

Summary:

When Tanner enters her life, he brings to her joy, music, dancing, and happiness back into her life, as well as stirring a deep passion within her that he matches, and she knows she will never be the same. But then she ends up following her father to the silver mines to keep their family together as she promised her mother, no matter what happened to them, that they wouldn't be separated as their father desired. Through loss and triumph Liza and Tanner share a unbreakable bond that is forged through trial and hardship, but is strengthen through their love.

The Hero (Tanner Hale)
Tanner, having studied music in France, has a great passion for it and its a part of him. Music is his home, not really having one for a long time now....but upon finding Liza he finds he his drawn to her, that she fills his life and completes him and that she was what has been missing in his life and he will do everything he can to protect her.

The Heroine (Liza Martin)
Liza, ever since tragically losing her mother made a vow to always keep their family together. Liza and her family have built up a boardinghouse, and do all they can to ensure its upkeep, Liza only knows about hard work and has forgotten the joys to be had in life, joys to savor and revel in, when one needs it the most. When Tanner comes into her life she starts to realize what she was missing in her life, things that her whole family needed just as much as the air they breathed.

My Thoughts
Tender Triumph is a single title, by Dianna Devlin, an author I hadn't heard of before even, and so when I saw the cover, I just knew I had to pick it up, and I am so glad that I did. I found it to be comfortable read that you could just relax in. A story of tender love and passion, that was portrayed in way that just pulled at the heartstrings of this reader. I fell in love from the first line I think...I just grew to admire both Tanner and Liza, who have had their shares of hardship and needed the strength of passion and love they found in each other. I found myself not wanting the story to end but when it did I felt content with it. A truly wonderful romance that will just make you feel like your falling in love for the first time!

Summary
Lucy, while taking a peaceful walk stumbles across a man she assumes is dead, but upon futher investigation finds that he is injured, and takes him back to her home to help heal him back to health. Simon, is bent on revenge, however Lucy startles his sensibilities to the point where he craves her very touch, and aches to hear the sound of her voice. He knows that his life is not what he would have for her, since everything in him vows to take revenge for his brothers death on those that killed him, but Lucy's love will be the one to save him as nothing else could...

The Hero (Simon Iddesleigh)
Simon when he was younger, was a rake and scoundrel, with drinking, gambling and many women, but once his brother was murdered and he was now the heir to the title, who has many responsibilities he vowed that he would get justice on those that killed his brother. My Thoughts
The Serpent Prince is the third installment in the series. After reading the first book in the series, I loved it so much that I desperately couldn't wait to read the rest of the books in the series, and I just loved reading The Serpent Prince. From the very first page, I found myself captivated until the very last page, and even though I wasn't totally into the story, there was still a sense of mystery and romance that pulled me in. The characters were engaging, and their interaction with each other scrumptious. I also enjoyed how their was a sense of purpose in the characters and their interaction with each other was fascinating...although there were parts that I couldn't bring myself to like....the other much captivating parts made up for it. The sensuality between Lucy and Simon were intense and can at times leave a reader breathless in anticipation for more to come....Overall a Succulent and juice read that will warm you from head to toe....

Summary:
Lacey, has recently recovered from being cheated by her fiancee, where he ran with everything she had, apart from his cat, of course. Then she is suddenly beamed onto another planet, and thinks ok...it can't get worse than this....however she is very wrong in that theory. Lacey is surprised to find that she is needed to help Zain Masters, who is stranded on a planet, with not much hope of getting his ship fixed before he gets killed in different painful ways. Lacey is determined to stay and assist Zain, she knows how much he needs her help right now and is willing to face whatever it takes, because there is passion building between them that she doesn't want to deny, one that she craves and aches for, a passion that will lead to her destiny with the one man who holds her heart.

The Hero (Zain Masters)
Zain, once worked for a galactic company but when his partner is killed and he is blamed for it, he has been on the run ever since, a drifter, a loner, one that has had to stay away from his family and friends, and has decided never to involve himself with a woman again...that is until he meets Lacey, and his body and heart burns for hers, knowing he won't be able to resist her or her efforts in saving him...

My Thoughts
Unleashed is the third installment in the UN Forgettable series...and I did overall enjoy Unleashed but it wasn't my favorite, probably my least favorite of the series. There were some amazing moments where I was enthralled to say the least in part of the story, captivated by the suspense and the romance...however it took a while for me to really get into the story, but when I did, I definitely had a good ride. There was also a taste for unrelenting adventure and sizzling romance that had me at the edge of my seat at times. Although I felt like at times there was something missing, it was a enjoyable read!

The Heroine (Helen Fitzwilliam)
Helen, decided to flee from a man she knew only considered her a possession, that didn't truly love her like she did him, and decided to run to a place she thought he would never look for her or her children. Where Helen could once find happiness once again, and despite the hard work ahead of her with Alistair and is crumbling castle, she finds that she can be herself here without revealing her past secrets, and find a tender passion with a man who could be her future.

My Thoughts
To Beguile A Beast is the third installment in this series. I have just loved this series, and this was the last one of this great series for me to read, and even though I read this one last (when its not the last in the series) it ended great!!! Ever since seeing Helen in the previous book...I was excited to read her story, and I wasn't disappointed with To Beguile A Beast. I found a hard time putting this one down from the very first page. I found the story to be enticing, the characters full of depth and endearing, and the romance riveting!!! Definitely a high rating on my scale!!! I loved it!!!

Then Annwyl is injured in battle, an Fearghus, a dragon comes and swoops down and carries her to his cave and sanctuary to care for her while she heals. Fearghus has never cared about humans, and Annwyl is the only one he is starting to have genuine feelings for. He desires to help train her for her fight against her brother, and is determined to make sure that she stays in his life, desires more than anything that she love him for himself as both a dragon and in his human form...

My Thoughts
Dragon Actually is the first installment in the Dragon Kin series, and I just randomly picked it up from a shelf from the library...I wasn't even looking for it and I can hardly wait to read the rest of the books in the series. I found myself in some kind of enthrallment when I started reading this one, and I couldn't pull myself away. Usually for this type of book...I can...I sometimes have a hard time with tough heroines, and one that loves killing more than anything...I wondered before I started reading how much I would enjoy it...but I was definitely wrong...because I just loved it! It was definitely unexpected, but I found both main characters to have a lot of depth to their personalities....and the more you got further into the book, the more you just fell in love with them. There was also a tender sensuality side to it that just drew you in to their passion. Seeing the family of Fearghus was also fun and entertaining, and there were many laughs in the story line as well....A True Keeper!!!

The only one he seems to be able to believe in is Beatrice, who is lovely inside as she is out and knows that despite her loyalty to her uncle, she can help him regain his title and lands again and a future...

The Hero (Reynaud St. Aubyn)
Reynaud, has been held captive and a prisoner for many years, and has only recently been able to return to his home, to find his father dead, his sister married and living in Boston, and his only home and land no longer his, and will do whatever it takes to regain them. When a lovely woman, Beatrice, helps nurse him back to health, despite his inability to stay sane, he finds her intoxicating to his senses and wants to keep her for himself as well...

Beatrice, although she deeply loves her uncle, the one person who took her in and loved her like a daughter, she still feels a undeniable attraction toward Reynaud. An attraction that she can't deny, even to herself. After admiring him from afar, she now can reach to him, and touch him, and desires him above anyone else.

My Thoughts
To Desire A Devil is the last installment in the Four Soldier Series. I really enjoyed the earlier books in the series, and even though I found this one a entertaining and sizzling read...it was far from my favorite. I found Reynaud too selfish at times, but I admired Beatrice and for standing up to him and not being afraid of his certain savageness. I did enjoy the plot, and I loved the side story of Beatrice's friend...Overall I found To Desire A Devil to be a heated story filled with heated scenes, intriguing plot full of mystery and suspense, and a tender love story

Summary:
Melisande, has always had a fascination for Jasper, Lord Vale. She has been watching him from afar for years, knowing that he doesn't even remember who she is or even her name, despite the fact that she was the closest friend to his former fiancee and childhood friend. However, when she hears that he has been jilted from another engagement, she knows that now is the time for her to act upon her feelings, before its too late. Jasper, when Melisande comes to him with a marriage proposal is somewhat shocked, but accepts, hoping that he won't have a fourth jilted engagement. My Thoughts
To Seduce A Sinner is the second in the Legend of Four Soldiers series. In the previous book we were able to see Jasper, and I was excited to read his story... I loved all of the elements that were portrayed in this story. I think I just fell in love with the hero, although he has suffered much inner pain, he still manages to find a bit of joy in life. And even though we see his focus on trying to locate the identity of the traitor, we all see how attentive he is toward Melisande. There were some aspects I liked about Melisande, but throughout the book I felt like there was something missing about her, but one aspect I loved about her was that when she believed in something she didn't back down. I enjoyed the little side story involving the heroine in the next books as well. Overall a very beautifully crafted story with a touch of mystery and mix of romance, wit, and deep characters, to keep you enchanted....

To Taste Temptation is the first in the 'Legend of the Four Soldies' series. I was way excited to get most of this series from the library, and I started with To Taste Temptation. I have heard many good things about this author, and I wasn't disappointed with this one. I found it to be a stunning start, and I just found I fell in love with the characters the more I got more into the book. Who can resist a man who wears mocassins to a ball just because they are comfortable LOL I found his certain disregard for everything proper entertaining to say the least. Emeline, is the kind of heroine who can relate with on some level. She has such a tender heart, even though it sometimes is hidden beneath her proper facade, when you can see she just can't wait for a opportunity to shed all of it to bare the true woman within. Such a delicious read, I had such a grand time reading this!!!!

Cohl, needs Tess to help him get his father freed, from those that have ransomed him. His father is the king and leader of their world, and Cohl is willing to do anything to free him, even kidnap a innocent woman to get what he needs. However Cohl didn't expect to fall in love along the way of this adventure that both he and Tess will embark on, and he will find out what finding one's true love is really like....not what he expected but he refuses to give it up once he has found it.

Cohl, ran away from his home many years ago., but upon hearing a frantic message from his mother concerning his father he rushed home, never expecting that his life would be forever changed after that. Tess, after losing her parents and not seeing much of her siblings, has finally been living her dream, to be a singer, doing something she passionately loves. Tess is furious when a gorgeous , yet insane man kidnaps her but wants to take her on a adventure that she would never have even dreamed of, but despite all that she finds that she is falling for Cohl, and is willing to stand by him in anything.....

My Thoughts
Unearthed is the first in the UN forgettable series, and I truly enjoyed Cohl and Tess's story here. Although I wasn't as involved in the book as I was Unraveled, and it took me some time to get really into it, it still had a exciting plot and fascinating elements that unraveled a beautiful story. I have always had a fascination with the Science Fiction Genre, so this type of background to the story really intrigued me. What I think I loved most about this book was how at first Tess is against the whole mission, but then through a turn of events changes her mind and is willing to do everything she can to aid Cohl, and rescue. I found her to be full of courage and willing to give up everything to stand by the man she loves. Cohl, is more of a sacrificing hero character, he loves Tess, but doesn't want her to give up everything to be with him...but the ending was magical and I just loved this story and especially all the characters involved. So if your looking for a story that will rock you to your very toes...then I would recommend Unearthed!!!

MY REVIEW
Summary:
Anna Wren, a widow, is in search for a job that could help with their financial needs, and miraculously finds a job as a secretary to the Earl of Swartingham. At first Anna is overjoyed but knows that it won't be a easy task to be a secretary to a man who hold a temper. Edward, is shocked when he comes home to see that a woman is his secretary, a woman that stands up to him and isn't afraid of his temper. Edward is physically drawn to Anna but knows that she is a lady and knows that he can never make an advance toward her, but the more time they spend with each other, he starts to realize she is the first woman he is comfortable with, someone to talk with, to walk with and one that see him beneath the scars on his face. But then the unexpected happens, and they will both realize that they will be able to find their ever after if they would fight for it...

The Hero (Edward, Earl of Swartingham)
Edward, has lost every person he has every loved to a disease, and he is the sole survivor. Widowed and without a heir he knows he must marry and soon, just in case something were to ever happen to him. Edward has much unresolved hurt and bitterness in his heart but the moment Anna enters into his life, he starts to soften just a bit at a time and he starts to come to the realization how much she means to him...

The Heroine( Anna Wren)
Anna, has always blamed herself for being unable to bear children after being married for four years, and now that she is a widow, she has found someone that she could find herself loving and spending a life with. But then she finds out that he desires children and knowing that it would be unlikely she could be with....she still aches to be with him any way that she can....even knowing that it could end in heartbreak.

My Thoughts
The Raven Prince is the first in the Princes Trilogy, and as the first book I have read from this author, I just fell in love....I found myself not wanting this one to ever end. I loved Anna and Edward and even the mutt 'jock' was a hoot throughout the book. I immensely enjoyed the interaction between the characters, especially Anna and Edward. Anna is not afraid of Edward, despite the fact that pretty much everyone else is....and she stands up to him like a spitfire not afraid of a thing, which only increases the heat and passion that builds between them. At first it took me a little bit to get into the books, but once I did I couldn't put it down, I was totally immersed into a unforgettable romance, that had my full attention!!! A Keeper for sure! Looking forward to reading more from Elizabeth Hoyt.
