My Review 

I have really enjoyed this author over the years, and even though I haven't read too many of her books, I was very delighted to get a chance to get a copy of this ARC through Avon and Edelweiss. I think out of all of books I have had the pleasure of reading from this author, this one would be at the top of my list. I would recommend it to anyone, it does have a bit of betrayal and distrust between the couple especially with how they began. However I found that from beginning to end I was entertained and there wasn't one moment of boredom. I could honestly conduct a hour or two long conversation about this book, but I wont take that long LOL

It begins with when they first fall in love, they start to slowly court, and their relationship is sweet and tender and innocent. Virginia is a American, and has come to England with her father to find a husband. Macrath has worked hard his whole life to get as accomplished as he is now. When Virginia's father demands that she marry a Count, she realizes that she will have to give up the man she loves. A year later  Virginia has just recently become a widow, and according to her mother in law, she must get pregnant immediately. Knowing she has no other choice, she decides to go up to Scotland to find Macrath, and seduce him. Virginia's feelings for him coming washing back the moment she is back in his arms and then leaves him again. Macrath isn't one to be used, or to give his heart twice to the same woman. So he decided to leave for a while, and heads down to Australia for a year. When he returns he decides to visit Virginia on a impulse, but he finds that she is barely recovering from a deathly sickness, and finds out that he has a son, that she never told him about. So deciding to turn the table on her, and before Virginia knows it she is chasing after Macrath, only to find herself in a situation where she could lose herself in him, and doesn't know if she could have the strength to leave or stay with him forever.

The Devil of Clan Sinclair is quite a sensational story that swept me off my feet. I loved how their sweet romance turns into a vital love story where the focus is about the love that lasts. This couple goes through quite a bit of hurdles, and at first I didn't like Virginia, I had a hard time getting used to her character. She seemed to me to be the type that would be not willing to fight for who you love. She seems to be lacking some spine, she could have been a bit more bolder. However I had no issues with Macrath, he never gave up on Virginia no matter how much she hurt him. I loved his strength and perseverance. In the end though, I enjoyed seeing how the story plays out, and it ended up be a endearing story that won my heart over in the end!! A story I would recommend to anyone that enjoys a sensually filled romance that is bound to endear you.

My Review
I was shocked when I saw a copy of the newest book of Karen Hawkins, available on the library shelf. Normally I would have to wait months sometimes a year, before it would become available. Let me tell you, I grabbed it faster than I could breath air. I have always had a deep appreciation for Karen Hawkins. She was the first author that I read that made me fall in love with romance. If any of you like a bit of witty YA romance, that is set in the historical time period--starts with Catherine and the Pirate--one of my all time favorite books, and is probably the reason I am still in love with romance, especially historical romance. There is so much talent in Karen Hawkins voice, and I would swear that How to Pursue a Princess is one of her best so far!! There were so many things that I enjoyed about this story, so first let me talk about the actual story.

When Lily and her younger sister learn that their father has come into some big debt, that will have to be paid quite soon, within the month, so knows that with the large quantity due, she will have no choice to marry. So she sends a request to her aunt the Duchess, who sets up a house country party, where she will try to match her with the Earl of Huntley. But when she leaves for a few moments on a ride, she ends up getting hurt, and she finds herself getting rescued by the most gorgeous yet stubborn man. Large and overbearing, Prince Wulfinski. When Wulf first sees Lily, he is captivated by her engaging eyes, and wild hair that only stimulates his senses. He knows that she is his future mate, but he must convince her first. Lily finds herself revealing all of her secrets to Wulf, and she wonders if circumstances were different that they might have had a future together. But believing he is a poor prince, she knows she has no choice but to marry the Earl, because her family is depending on her. But will she choose her duty over her family, or her love for Wulf, who makes her feel more alive than ever before.

How To Pursue A Princess is a astounding read!! I felt myself utterly captivated from the fast paced plot to the deep sensuality that develops into a powerful love story! There was quite a bit I loved about this one. First is the hero...*sigh*, boy was I impressed. He is from another country, and could care less about society's rules, and is very blunt and says what exactly is on his mind, and isn't modest about it. He above all was my favorite character, and my favorite hero from this author. I would trade places with Lily any day of the week! When he goes after Lily to convince her to choose love over duty to her family, he is very tenacious and stubborn with the issue, much to my delight. I love a man who knows what he wants and charges after it. This newest addition to the Duchess series is a tale full of witty humor, sensational fun, and has a refreshing flavor to it that only ends up captivating its reader. SPLENDIDLY WELL DONE!!!

My Review

After having the chance to read Lover Mine (the second in the series), I was thrilled to get a copy of Princess Charming at my local library. The more I read from Nicole Jordan, the more I am liking her even more and more.  This new series by Jordan, is the "Legendary Lovers", which we see in Princess Charming, is instigated by the oldest daughter-who tends to be a bit bossy and overwhelming at times. She claims that each of them (herself and her fellow siblings) are destined for one true mate, and that each of their finding their true love will be based on a famous love story. So informs her brother Ash that he is destined to be Prince Charming to Maura who is his Cinderella. At first he thinks his sister is going crazy, but he starts to believe her when he meets Maura, who needs someone to rescue her. Maura has recently lost her father because he was tricked into a gambling game. So her step mother, sold her most prized possession, her beloved horse, to their nemesis, who promised in return to fund her sisters coming out in Society. She is furious and needs to get back her horse, he is one of her closest friends and will do anything to get him back. When she tries to convince the Viscount to sell him back to her, he tries to attack her sexually, and she fights back. Now she knows that she will never be able to get him back. But then Ashton Wilde steps forward, and for the first time she believes that there is hope. She knows that his sister is trying to match make them together, but that is the last thing she needs, is another male trying to take over her life, she believes that she is doing just fine on her own. But when circumstances change, Ash and Maura are forced together in a pretend engagement, and she starts to fall in love with a scandalous rake who has taught her the true power of passion and a love that last a lifetime.

Can I just say WOW!!! I am very impressed, I wish that I had read this one first before Lover Mine. It is always such a benefit to read a series in order, now I have to wait for the third in the series, much to my dismay....the last thing I want to do now is WAIT!! LOL There was quite a bit that I enjoyed about Princess Charming. First is that I loved that it had a horse theme to it. I have a deep passion for horses, and this horse definitely played a major part in the story. Maura is very stubborn and tenacious, and seriously---she will do anything for this horse of hers. It was quite amusing to see the lengths she will go with, and Ash just goes along for the ride and saves the day. I loved the Ashton isn't afraid of Maura independence, and is a perfect match for her, because he shows her he can be just as stubborn as she can. There was quite a bit of a intense battle between Maura and Ashton, but a fun and amusing one, that will just have you laughing until your arms fall off. A witty and carefree tale based on a fairy tale, that just brings a new aspect on it, and made me fall in love with this author again! Zesty, humorous adventure!!

My Review

Rachel Donnelly gave me a copy of Lady Broke in return for a honest review. Considering that I just love western historical's, I found eager to read it. When I read the synopsis I knew that it would be a stimulating read. I really loved how the beginning started out with excitement and danger. It wasn't the type where it takes a while to get into the story, I felt like it would be a easy to get into read for anyone. There is a instant spark between Nat and Christie, even if they both try to deny what they feel in the beginning. When she ends up getting kidnapped by the gang that Nat is hunting down, the same gang that almost killed her uncle. When Nat and Christie are embroiled together in a intense adventure that will turn their spark into a fierce passion across the west. Thus begins a adventure about a lawman and a young woman from the city, that are drawn together and end up finding a love of a lifetime when they least expect it. It was such fun to see how this couple interacted and developed their relationship. On the outside it seems like they are so wrong for each, so opposite--but in the end we see how its the important things that really matter, and that in the end they complimented each other in a way that was beyond intriguing.  I found myself being very impressed with Donnalley's voice. I haven't ever read her books until this one, but I definietly want to read more of her books now. Lady Broke is full of advenutre, spirited characters, and a exciting plot that is bound to curl your toes. I enjoyed seeing their connection grow with full intensity and will evoke such zestful emotions!! A stunning adventure that made the wild west come to life!!

My Review 
I recently received a ARC copy of My Notorious Gentleman by Avon through Edelweiss. I can not say how much I enjoyed reading this one. If you have yet to read one of her stories, you are missing out...big time!! There is nothing I like better than sitting down, relaxing, and reading a romance from Gaelen Foley. Such remarkable talent and drama and intensity, its bound to captive you from the get go. My Notorious Gentleman is the sixth of the series, but I am not sure if its the last one, in fact I am thinking there might be a next installment considering it had a small bit of a cliffhanger. Only small enough that has me intrigued.

Grace is a ministers daughter, and as such, she has a desire to help others. When she finds herself in London, helping a family friend from drinking and gambling his life away, she comes across Lord Trevor Montgomery, who has the mistaken impression that she is after him, and practically seduces her on a couch, and what is a woman to do except defend herself and attack him with a hair pin. Then later at the party her father introduces her to him, and now she has no idea what to think of him. But when her father encourages him to buy a piece of property that is right next door, she is appalled, that is the last thing that she needs, a man who is more tempting than anything she has ever encountered. Travis, has decided to retire fully from the War Office, he has dedicated his whole life to serving his country, and now he is ready for peace and contentment. When he goes to the countryside, and finds the perfect place, he is intrigued by Grace. She may be a pastor's daughter, but she is beautiful and has a heart of gold. Grace doesn't understand why Travis is so interested in her. But when life seems to spiral out of control, he is her rock and more than anything she desires to have him forever.

A completely memorable story with fascinating characters that only end up capturing your heart. A heart warming and deeply riveting story of a tender and romantic love between this pair that warmed me up inside and out. I loved the setting of the story, and there was so much I enjoyed about this. It didn't have a whole ton of intense espionage drama like you are used to with this series. However it did have some suspenseful moments that will definitely get your attention. A remarkably written story, and this just might have to go on as top of the list of favorites from this author. An enriching and passionate love tale that is bound to stir up all kinds of emotions. A KEEPER!!

My Review 
I just read this one, and boy it surely didn't take very long. My only complaint about this book is that it went by way too fast to suit me. Its like I have a love/hate relationship with this one. When I found this available at the library, I knew that I had to pick it up, since I have been waiting months for it to become free for me to read. It has been a while since I have read the previous books in the series, but I am thinking I need to re read the series. When I started reading My Scandalous Viscount I realized why I fell in love with this author, and most especially this spectacular series.

Even though Carissa is labeled the "lady of information", she has good reasons for what she does. When she sees that Beau is in trouble, she knows that she must be the one to save the day. But when she goes to warn him of a impending danger, she ends up in a situation of being shot by a stranger and with Beau as her champion. He then takes her to a safe house of sorts, and where she being curious about Beau and his somewhat secret life, she finds herself being compromised and forced to marry Beau. Sebastian is leader of the Inferno Club now, and is busy enough trying to find out who is working toward destroying all that he and his men have worked so hard at all of these years. But when a charming little minx storms into his life, and they end up in a compromised situation he has no choice but to marry her. He has no complaints however, since he has always been fascinated with Carissa. But when it becomes apparent that his men are in grave danger if they set foot in England, he needs to use every discipline he has to save his brothers. He never thought that falling in love with his beautiful wife would be even more disastrous than his job.

I found this story to be delightful and full of everything I need in a solid spy romance set in regency England. In the previous books we learn about the Inferno Club, and I was thrilled to finally read Beau's story. There was quite a bit of tension and intrigue, and I found myself entertained constantly. The two characters Carissa and Sebastian, were utterly delightful. Their relationship was striking and too amusing by half. A sensual and sizzling tale of passion and danger and mystery that will win your heart over.
