Summary:
Anthony Bridgerton, a renown rake and rogue, has decided that now is the time to finally get married and settle down, so he sets his sights on the "Gem" of Society, Edwina Sheffield. However Anthony must convince her formidable yet beautiful sister, Kate Sheffield. From the first moment he meets her he senses a animosity that she feels for him. So although tempers between Kate and Anthony are hot, there is a heated desire that they both feel for each other. Anthony is stunned at being attracted to Kate, when its her sister he want to marry. Kate is determined to protect her sister, and has heard plenty of Anthony's escapades, especially with women, as a rake but when they share a passionate embrace, her resolve weakens and her hearts opens to this rogue.

The Hero
Anthony Bridgerton, worshiped his father growing up, but then his father died at the age of 38, and Anthony was devastated by the loss, and a part of him doesnt think he is good enough, or that he will live longer than 38. Anthony has spent the past decade in pursuit of all different kinds of pleasure, and all the while still seeing to his obligations as head of the family. Now he feels that he is ready to settle down and take a wife. So he picks the cream of the crop of the season, but when he attempts to court her he ends up verbally dueling with her older sister Kate, and craves her body with a intensity that stuns him...

The Heroine
Kate Sheffield, is at the age of twenty one and according to some "on the shelf" and has just started her first season at the same time as her younger sister. With her father's passing away, their funds were needed to be stretched, and could only afford to have one season, which means that Kate and Edwina have one chance to find husbands. For Kate, she couldn't care less about finding a husband or the season, growing up she never learned much about etiquette that all the other girls learned from childhood.Kate is very protective of her younger sister, so when she learns of Anthony's interest in Edwina, Kate is even more determined to make sure he stays away from her, but never expected that she would start falling for the Viscount herself.

My Thoughts
The Viscount Who Loved Me is the second installment in the Bridgerton series written by Julia Quinn. I have just loved this series and could read these books over and over, I just fall in love with the stories and characters all over again every time I read her books, and I just fell in love with Kate and Anthony. Anthony has always held a certain place in my heart, he is the type of hero that even on the outside seems like a rogue, on the inside he has suffered his own kind of pain and grief, and fears the future, but is a charming devil. I love the characters in this story, very likable. The story was filled with witty interaction, romance, and a few surprises along the way....a very Enjoyable story that will satisfy any romantic heart.

My Favorite Quote
Something about her was...right. She felt right. She smelled right. She tasted right.
