MY REVIEW
Summary:
Poppy Hathaway is the only one of her family that craves a life of normalacy, to not have big adventures, since her life with her family is filled with one adventure after another. Poppy is in the latter part of the season and at the Rutledge hotel where they are staying, on a race for a ferret, and stumbles in a secret passageway she finds herself in Harry Rutledge's arms and dazzled by his sensational kisses, Harry who is a temptation in and of itself to Poppy. Harry Rutledge wants Poppy and will do anything he can to get her. So when they are caught in a compromising position, which forced Poppy to marry the one man that has manipulated everything to this point. Even though she doesn't trust him, and is reluctant to marry, she knows that if she doesn't her life will be ruined. So she marries him, not exactly knowing what to expect out of Harry Rutledge, however she never realized that even though things started a bit rocky, their union would be filled with passion, love and trust.

The Hero 
Harry Rutledge never had the respect or love from his father growing up in New York City, America, so he has never been loved or been able to reach other to love someone else. Harry is very successful in London, and very smart with science and has even helped the Government with some inventions. Then he stumbles across Poppy Hathaway the most sensible of them all, and he finds her fascinating with her beautiful smile and her smart conversations, he is intrigued by her, and after their kiss he vows that he must have her, he just never expected such a delightful package that would teach him about love and happiness.

The Heroine
Poppy Hathaway is the Fourth of the Hathaways, and the most sensible. Her family is always filled with near catastrophes, accidents all around, animals everywhere she goes, and life full of adventure. But what she craves is peace and quiet in the country. Poppy is very intellectual and loves to converse with people on those topics, however since she has entered society she must converse in boring conversating except when she is with Harry, who seems intrigued by her.  But when she is forced to marry the scoundrel that manipulated the events, she is reluctant to every trust him, but starts to see that he needs love and affection more than anyone, because he has never felt it.

My Thoughts:
This is my Third time reading Tempt Me At Twilight, and I just love this one, and one of my favorites written by this author and it is my favorite book of this series. I just have always loved Poppy, and I also love Harry, he is the kind of male heros that I love to read about in love stories. The kind that is so Alpha and wants to take control of everything, but what he needs more is a fiery female who will show him love and tenderness and Poppy surely does this, and we see a change in Harry throughout the story. Tempt Me At Twilight is a tender romance that will definitely make you fall in love all over again, a delightful love story!!!

Summary:
A Tale of Two Vikings is exactly what the title claims, its a story of two twin brother Vikings. Toste and Vagn were born at the same time, twins, they have done everything in their lives together. When they go into battle together, they are both injured and separated having to assume the other is dead, despite the strong connection they have for each other. Toste is taken away by some Nuns, including a Lady Esme, the most beautiful and stunning nun he has ever seen, and has yet to say her complete vows to the church, so of course for him she is available, however Esme is only looking for sanctuary from those that want her killed, not a handsome viking that stirs up her senses. Vagn is taken back to familiar surroundings, and back to Helga -his brothers betrothed. But now they his brother Toste is dead, he notices that Helga the Homely as she once was called, is now Helga the beautiful. So Vagn starts considering the idea of marrying Helga, however she is very high spirited and resistant to marrying him. However these Viking Twins never expected that their greatest battle would be for....LOVE

The Heroes
We have two heroes, the Viking brothers, Toste and Vagn. These two have done everything together since they were born, linked by a unbreakable bond. So when they are separated they have to mourn for their twin who've been at their side. Now these two during the book while they are separated from one another start having hints that the other is alive, due to their link, which is neat. Also you will see that once they are reunited things just start to heat up with their love stories as well.

The Heroines
Our first heroine is Esme, who is the one that helps save Toste, who has to hide in the nunnery and yet to do her vows for the church, always having to go to confession (my kind of girl). Esme came to the nunnery, because her father and brothers who have always been demeaning toward her, have wanted her killed because of the land that she inherited from her mother. So she has almost been killed many times, but now Toste has entered her life and is all about protection and defending her.

Our second heroine is Helga, who when she was a little girl was claimed to be Helga the Homely, by Toste, and has felt the stigma of that statement ever since then. However now a adult woman she has changed. Her father is insistent on her marrying and having children, but when Vagn is rescued she is furious at her father for trying to get him to marry her, because she doesn't want marriage, she is just fine on her own, or so she tells herself, and things definitely start to heat between Helga and Vagn, that she starts having doubts about her convictions of not marrying.

My Thoughts:
I have to say that A Tale of Two Vikings is by far one of my favorites of Sandra Hill. I loved the whole aspect of twin Vikings, I mean who wouldn't right? It takes place back in 900 A.D., and it was definitely a witty yet sensual written story.  In this story each chapter each trades off to each twins love story, which is neat yet can be a bit frustrating when the chapter leaves you hanging. This is a wonderful story of two twins that have never thought that they would ever settle down, but once they are separated, they start thinking outside the box, and find women of their own, and such a sweet reunion when they find each other once again. Definitely a story you dont want to miss out on, one that will surprise and intrigue you senseless.

My Review:

Summary:
Sophia Dawson, daughter of a pirate, seven years ago fell in love with Pirate Black Hawke, one of the most infamous pirates but when she fell in love, she found she couldn't stay without marriage, and she wanted more than to be his mistress and being shunned by everyone surrounding her, she deserves more than that. Now she is in England, and respectable, and is very close to winning the hand of a Duke, but then James enters into her life once more, and she knows that he can destroy everything that she has worked for to get to this point. James, once the Black Hawke Pirate, has retired from pirating for his sisters sake, and hates being in Society, but then he sees the one woman that he has vowed for revenge, thinking she is cold and unfeeling. However both Sophia and James, are headstrong and stubborn, and when they enter into a battle of wills which could lead to scandal or the most exquisite pleasure to be found in one another's arms once more. 

The Hero 
James, who once was the Black Hawke infamous pirate, has retired from piracy due to his sister marrying and now he must be respectable for her sake, but resents every moment in society's sight. James has always been the one to take care of his siblings and now he has come face to face with the one woman who had once held his heart. But now he has a shield around himself, as protection, not wanting her to hurt him once more. Yet now he vows for revenge for leaving him in the first place.

The Heroine:
Sophia Dawson, is a daughter of a pirate, now her father has passed away, but despite that she has recently been scorned by her lineage. She once fell in love with James, but wanted more than just to be in his bed, but to spend the rest of her life with him. But when he refused marriage to her, she knew she couldn't live this way, so she left him taking her broken heart with her. Now seven years later, she is in Society, and managed to look respectable and is hoping to win the hand of a nobleman. But then James enters her life, and she knows that any pursuit of the hidden passion she once buried, could destroy everything she has built her life for.

My Thoughts:
Although The Infamous Rogue was a wonderful romance to read, it was one of those that I had to push myself into reading. It didn't draw me in as other books of this author has. I think the problem was the characters in this book. It just seemed off to me the way they interacted with each other, especially at the beginning of the book. Maybe its just me, or.. I don't know, but this is probably one of my least favorites of this author that she has written. Although I do like reading from this author, The Infamous Rogue just doesn't do it for me.  It did have some good points though, I did enjoy the plot of the story and although I liked the book it was a bit more than an average read, although I will be reading the rest of her books that are related to this one though. I hope I will enjoy them much more. But if you like historical romances with a handsome rogue pirate, than you will enjoy this one.
