Blurb:
This holiday season has bite.
Ben Prescott hates Christmas—he’s a vampire, and to him, there’s certainly nothing jolly about the holiday season. While the humans are running around being merry, he’s hunting in the shadows. Ben plans to spend the holidays his way…by stalking deadly prey.
But fate has other plans for Ben.
Three visitors are coming Ben’s way…A demon who will force Ben to face his past, a ghost who will show Ben the present he could have, and a shifter who will reveal the darkness that waits in Ben’s future. Unless Ben can change his ways, he may just turn into a real monster, one who can’t be saved by anyone or anything.
‘Tis the season…to be undead.
Ben’s redemption rests in the hands of the one woman he loved and lost—Simone Laurent. If Ben is going to have a chance at being more than just the beast in the darkness, he has to prove himself to the lovely Simone. A very hard task, considering that, once upon a Christmas Eve, Simone died in Ben’s arms…
Warning:
This book features one very tortured vampire, a sexy ghost from his past, and hot scenes designed to melt the winter snow. Plenty of action, adult situations, and steamy times are ahead. Happy holidays!

Could you tell us 5 random things about yourself.
Of course! Let’s see...I love horror movies, Vin Diesel is my favorite actor, I have an addiction to chocolate, I watch the Disney Channel even when my son isn’t in the room, and I’ve been reading romance novels since I was 12 years old.
-What is your favorite aspect about writing? What inspired you to write?
I love being able to create high intensity, dangerous scenes--and to enjoy that danger from the comfort of my chair. Anything can happen in books, and it’s that “anything” that makes writing exciting to me!
I have always been a day dreamer, so writing just seemed like a good fit for me. I couldn’t turn off the day dreams, so I just used them!
- Tell us a bit about A Vampire’s Christmas Carol
Thanks for asking! A Vampire’s Christmas Carol features one very tortured vampire who is on the edge of falling into darkness. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by three very different visitors--a demon, a ghost from Ben’s past, and a shifter. It’s a vampy take on the Dickens classic...only there’s some steamy scenes included that I don’t think were in the original version!
-Do you have a favorite character? Tell us about him/her.
That is such a tough question! I think my favorite overall character would be Niol from Midnight’s Master. Niol was my first really bad anti-hero, and he gave me a serious soft spot for those tortured guys.
-What made you decide on writing paranormal romance? and why?
I think we can all use an escape from the real world, and I like to write paranormals to get that escape. It’s nice to imagine that there is more to this world than just what we see each day.
-What is the easiest and/or hardest part about writing?
The ending is the hardest part for me! Sometimes, it’s difficult to say goodbye to the characters.
The easiest part? Starting a story! That’s always fun and exciting!
-Do you have a favorite genre to read for fun?
Romance! Give me all sub-genres, and I am a happy woman!
-Do you have a specific spot you like to write? or is it anytime, anywhere?
Anytime, anywhere. ;) I just need to be in a quiet spot, and I’m good to go. If there is too much noise nearby or if someone is talking, I always get pulled out of the story.
-If you could travel to any time, which would it be and why?
Hmmm...I’ve always been fascinated by Ancient Egypt. I’d love to get a first hand look at the pyramids in their glory!
-Do you have any favorite books or author you love to read from?
So many! I love Larissa Ione, Katie Reus, Jayne Ann Krentz, Kresley Cole, Linda Howard...I could go on for hours.
Thank you so much for taking the time to interview me. Happy Holidays!
