Throwback Thursday is a new meme hosted by Buried Under Romance and Love Saves The World, and since I just love Historical Romance I decided to participate.
What Is Throwback Thursday?
Traditionally, Throwback Thursday celebrates nostalgia, asking participants to post a personal photo or image from their past--usually from 5 to 10 years ago. There are a lot of book blogs that also do a book related Throwback Thursday.
Here Are The Rules:
1. It must be posted on a Thursday.
2. It must be a historical romance novel published before October 3, 2008
Abducted and sold into slavery, Chantelle Burke has been brought to the palace of the mighty Pasha. Vowing never to bow to this ruthless master's will, the young Englishwoman weakens within the silken splendor of his chambers, and after on glance into his piercing emerald eyes.
The stunningly handsome Pasha is a powerful, muscular figure yet he caresses the lovely addition to his harem with a fond tenderness that only succeeds in driving her wild. But beneath his exotic eastern garb, the cryptic Pasha shrouds his true identity –– one that he finds difficult to conceal when he wants so much to surrender his hearty and soul to the irresistible Chantelle.
This was once of my earlier books that I read from this author, and to this day I still have good memories of my first time reading this. I fell in love with this story and most especially the characters. There were quite a few sweet and tender romantic scenes that captured my heart. Even though on the surface the hero is a tough Sheikh, he treats Chantelle with patience and gentleness at times. Definitely wouldn't mind reading this one again.
