On My Wishlist (50)

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where I list all the books I desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming.

The only unmarried Windham sibling, Lady Jenny would not mind so very much taking care of her parents, if only she could study art in Paris for a few years first. Jenny longs for both an artistic challenge, and for a small taste of the passion life holds for those with the courage to seize it.

Lord Elijah Harrington arrives to the Windham household to spend the Yule season painting portraits commissioned by Their Graces, and Jenny thinks she’s met not only a kindred spirit, but a man she might love.

Alas, for Jenny—and Elijah—honor has obligated him elsewhere, and while ‘tis the season to be merry, for Jenny and Elijah, it will take a miracle to bring them their happily ever after.

Video-game store owner Neil Scott transports himself into a virtual-reality game, where he must protect a beautiful aspiring queen. But in this harsh land vastly different from his own, Neil discovers a life worth struggling for, principles worth fighting for--and the love of a woman that can convince him love is worth dying for.

He was Dominic Edgemont, Lord Nightwyck, heir to the Marquis of Gravenwold. But he was also a dark-eyed, half-gypsy bastard...

When tall, handsome Dominic sees one of his Romany band whipping a beautiful, flame-haired captive, he never dreams she is a pampered heiress stolen fro the English court. To have her, he will pay a king's ransom and make himself her lord.

Lovely Catrina forbids Dominic her bed, but her fiery temper is no match for his cool determination to take her as his lover. Still, she will not be passion's slave forever. She and her Gypsy Lord will meet again-in a glittering London setting, far from the rustic tent they shared. Will her desire for revenge overwhelm her natural urge to love?

Lost in the Bayou...

Selene has always had three great passions: men, food . . . and Gone With the Wind. Still, the glamorous model always seems to be starving for both nourishment and affection. Weary of the petty world of high fashion, she heads to New Orleans for one last shoot before she chucks it all and begins a whole new life. But she doesn't realize that, thanks to an errant voodoo spell, her new life will happen 150 years in the past . . . and in the company of a dark and brooding gentleman who could give Rhett Butler a run for his money!

An alarmingly handsome Southern planter, James Baptiste may not have Rhett's cavalier spirit—and his plantation is certainly no Tara! But it's clear as crystal that this virile Creole is a lover worth giving a damn about. And with God as her witness, Selene vows she will never go hungry for this man again!
