This Weeks Topic: Top Ten Books Featuring Travel In Some Way
1. A Howl For A Highlander-In this story, there is some traveling from Scotland to and from an Island.
2.The Pirate Lord-Its a historical, and there is alot of travel on a pirate ship on the seas, which leads to a beautiful island, and then to London. So quite a bit of travel .It take the majority of the story. A Favorite.
3. Out Of Control-A Contemporary Romantic Suspense by Suzanne Brockmann (my favorite contemporary author) This couple travels to Indonesia together and end up dealing with some terrorists. *shivers* are guaranteed!!
4.A Notorious Love-This was the first book I read from this author, and I fell in love with her. This has quite a bit of traveling on coaches and horses and on foot together searching for her sister who has been kidnapped.
5. Texas Destiny-First in the Texas trilogy--this is a Mail Order Bride theme story, where the heroine ends up falling in love with her escort who is her future husbands brother.
6. The Wedding-by Julie Garwood--there is quite a bit of traveling in this story, but its a great read!! Probably at the top of my list of favorite romances.
7.Gentle Rogue-By Johanna Lindsey--a favorite of this author, a tale that is spent on the sea for about 90% of it. Its the whole girl disguises herself as a cabin boy only to be found out by the captain as a woman. a thrilling and exciting tale.
8. Maid For The Billionaire-This involves lots of time in Limo's, Luxury Jet Planes and a sexy hero. A fun story set in Contemporary
9. Catherine and the Pirate -This I think was the first book that made me fall in love with romance and why I still read them ten years later. Its a teen romance, but can be read for any age. Involves quite a bit of traveling on a pirates ship.
10.Secret Fire-this one involves quite a bit of travel--from London, to Russia and back again.
