Synopsis
New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands returns to the Highlands of Scotland in her hottest new historical romance yet!

Highlander Campbell Sinclair is no stranger to battle, so when he sees a lad attacked by bandits, he jumps into the fray. He didn't count on being stabbed. Grateful to the boy for nursing him back to health, Cam offers to accompany Jo safely to his destination. But when he accidentally comes across the lad bathing in the river, Cam discovers that Jo is actually Joan . . . with the most sinful of curves.

Joan promised her mother that she would deliver a scroll to the clan MacKay. But traveling alone is dangerous, even disguised as a boy. When a Scottish warrior lends his aid, she is more than relieved . . . until he surprises her with lingering kisses and caresses that prove her disguise hasn't fooled him. As their passion ignites, will the secrets of the scroll force a wedding . . . and lead to a love she's never known?
My Review

Campbell Sinclair is a highland laird, and protector and defender of innocents, even a lad fighting off some bandits. So Campbell fights them off, only to end up injured himself, and the boy then nurses him back to health. Campbell learns of the lad's destination and offers his aid in thanks to bringing him back to health. On the journey up, he unintentionally sees the boy bathing in the river, only to discover the boy is a beautiful lass. Joan made a vow to her mother on her death bed, to deliver a missive up to the Clan MacKay, and is more determined than ever to make it up there safely. When a gorgeous Scottish warrior lends his aid, she takes it, knowing that there is many dangers on the road, especially for a woman, even though she is dressed as a lad. But when Cam and Joan find a lingering desire to each other, and before either of them realizes it, they will both be put on a road of passion and desire, and a future that could destroy or bring them together forever...

To Marry A Scottish Laird is the second book in the series. Now I just love a stimulating highlander romance, and oh boy does Lynsay Sands satisfy my romantic needs in this one. It definitely packs one hell of a punch, enough to throw you clear out into the sky.  This wonderful romantic tale begins with a woman dressed as a boy, and a highlander in need of saving. Campbell is a favorite hero, strong, a fighter and protector, and has some intense sensual abilities to curl your whole body. He is a highland laird, and when his wife died from childbirth, he has no want of another wife. But when his mother tries to drown him with women after women, he is desperate for freedom. So he leaves for the summer, and on his way back up home, he discovers a woman that stirs his blood, and opens up his heart once more. Joan knows that she is beneath Campbell, and could never be worthy to be his wife, so she wants to enjoy their precious time together. But when a secret is revealed, Joan learns of her true identity, and before she knows it her life is thrown into chaos, but always back into Campbell's arms who is more than determined to win her heart. A beautiful love story that  I found captivating. The more you read this story, the more you get fully involved into it, and it starts to tie you up in knots, trying to discover the truth, and let me say you are in for some wild rides, crazy surprises, and delicious sensuality. There were many delights in this story, that make you fall in love each and every time. The plot is packed with some danger, a mystery ( I dare you to solve before its revealed and get it right!), characters that come to life, and a love story to cherish.

Overall I found To Marry A Scottish Laird a personal favorite, and by far at the top of my list for historical's from this author. I have always been impressed with her paranormals, however this historical romance has won my heart. A piercing and stunning love story that carries you through a plot full of danger, strife, dangers, and above all a fierce passion to rival any that turns into a tender and sweet masterpiece of a romance!! BREATHTAKING!!!
