Sebastianne Dumont is not at all who she seems to be. Forced to steal the code to save her family, her mission takes an even more dangerous turn when she falls in love with the surprisingly tempting man she must ultimately betray. And if she succeeds in stealing the code, will she also steal Lord Drake's heart, while leaving her own behind?

MY REVIEW

Summary:
Sebastianne has been forced to come to England and takes the position of Lord Drake Byron's housekeeper, so she can be a spy for France in order to save her family who are in danger if she doesn't get a certain piece of information. Only what she didn't expect was to be working for a man that is more tempting than she expected. Lord Drake knew that when Anne came into his office desiring the housekeeper position that she would present only problems if he hired her, but despite his inner turmoil, he decides to hire her in a moment of weakness. In the beginning he blames it on physical needs, but as things between them escalate on a sensual level, he knows that he can't keep resisting her, but wants to embrace his feelings for her...

The Hero (Drake Byron)
Drake is in the middle of a large family, and is determined not to get married off like his siblings have done and despite his mothers insistence on the need to settle down. His plan for his life is vastly different than his familys'. Drake is more than willing to work on the mathematical theories involving the stars and not on having a wife to worry about, but when Anne comes into his household his mind starts to drift from the scientific matters to the matters of the heart...

The Heroine (Sebastianne Dumont)
Sebastianne, her main focus is to keep her family safe at all costs even if that means becoming a spy. So she travels to England, planning on stealing vital information to help the french government in return for her family's safety. Sebastianne knew that she would have to end up betraying Drake from the first moment she met him, but as time goes on and pressure amounts...she gets more and more reluctant to betray the one man that she is coming to love....but knows that she will have to choose between duty to her family and duty to her heart.

My Thoughts
Bed and the Bachelor is the fifth in the Byrons of Braebourne series, and I have just come to love each and every one of the books in the series but this one is one my favorites so far. I have always enjoyed reading historical spy romances, and so I could hardly wait to start reading this one the moment I got my hands on it. There was a  level of mystery to the story and a depth to the characters that one always see's from this author, but there was also a enticement as well that draws the reader in, and I found myself reading this book within a few hours, which only happens whenever I am reading a book that I can't put down. I loved the aspect of danger to the plot, definitely had me on the edge of my seat. Overall it was a well written novel that flowed nicely with in depth characters that the reader could relate with easily. So if you love historical romances especially those that involve spys than this one is definitely for you!!

Synopsis

He Had to Marry Her
Everyone in London agrees the Byrons are just as "mad, bad, and dangerous to know" as their poetic non-relation. But Lord Jack Byron is facing a predicament that is scandalous . . . even for him!
Marry a young woman because he lost a bet? Unreformed rake Lord Jack Byron would do anything to get out of it. But the rich merchant who holds his debt insists Jack lead his on-the-shelf daughter to the altar . . . and make her believe it's a love match. With no options, Jack agrees, thinking he'll be shackled to a closed-in spinster.
But Grace Danvers is no milk-and-water miss. When he first encounters her in a London bookstore, Jack is struck by her tempting sensuality and soon becomes determined to bed—and wed—her (in that order!). Yet though he plans to seduce her with his touch, he never dreams he'll also want to win her with his love.

MY REVIEW
Summary:
Lord Jack Byron, is wild and scandalous at times, but when he loses a bet of a amount he can't afford, he agrees to marry the gamblers daughter, but he has to convince her to marry him and make her fall in love with him. Grace, upon meeting the handsome Jack Byron, is flattered that he would want to be with her over how many other beautiful women, when she has never considered herself beautiful, however she feels herself starting to fall in love with Jack. Jack, even though in the beginning this ruse was all about getting Grace to marry him, but he never though that he would find her everything he would desire in a wife, and knows he is starting to fall in love with her, hoping that when the truth comes out she will still realize how much his feelings for her are sincere...

The Hero (Jack Byron)
Jack, never thought that he would be forced into marrying a spinster and plain woman, but upon meeting Grace, he realizes how she is exactly the opposite of plain. Before he even realizes Jack, starts to look forward to his time with Grace, and the passion that flares up between them, he hopes that he can make her fall in love with him, and hopes the love he is starting to feel for her will be enough to make her believe in him

The Heroine (Grace Danvers)
Grace, even though she is considered to be on the shelf and a spinster, never imagined that Lord Jack Byron would have a interest in her. In the beginning she doubts his intentions, but then she starts to open her heart to him, and the desire that awakens in her from his touch, makes her believe that he truly cares for her. But she starts to wonder if there is something that he is hiding from her?

My Thoughts
Seduced By His Touch is the second installment in the Byrons of Braebourne series. Even though I have read the books out of order, I have just loved this series....Its one of my favorite regency historical series. Seduced By His Touch at times were a emotional rollercoaster, and the characters were so vivid from the very beginning that you couldn't help but love them both, there was such a endearing quality, about Jack and Grace, who have led different lives, but there is such a powerful chemistry that develops between them, and a powerful love that will carry you away in the story. From the very beginning Tracy Anne Warren has seduced me in a way that she has done with each and every one of her books!!!

MY REVIEW

Summary:
Claire, has been in love with Edward, the Duke of Clybourne, since she was sixteen years old, but then he broke her heart, and even though they have long been betrothed, she has no desire to marry him now. Claire refuses to enter into a loveless marriage, because she has seen what a one sided loveless marriage is like, and has no desire to go through that. Edward, knows that it is his duty to wed, and knows that with her pedigree and manner, she would be an acceptable wife, but little did he know that he would have to fight to win her hand and affections, and that he could awaken her deep passions and desires with his kiss. Despite her resistance of him, he is ever the more determined to claim her as his wife...no matter what it takes to win his bride....

The Hero (Edward Byron)
Edward, accepts that his marriage to Claire, will be similar to other society marriage, and the most he will feel for her is devotion and affection. After seeing his two brothers in love and happy in their marriage, he doesn't know if he could ever open up to someone as they have. Edward accepts his responsibilites and duties as being Duke, and as he was required to marry because of his title, he knows that Claire is the perfect choice to be his bride. However he never thought that he would find such pleasure in her bed, or that his heart would start to open to love...

The Heroine (Claire Marsden)
Claire, once fell in love with Edward when she was sixteen, but then she spied him with his mistress, and after his reference to her at the time, she was heartbroken. Now years later, he has come to marry her, and Claire is far from happy that he has come now for her, and plans on fighting this battle of wills and of the heart...

My Thoughts
At The Dukes Pleasure is the third in this series by Tracy Anne Warren. I just recently started reading books from this author, and just adore them. At The Duke's Pleasure was such a witty and fun love story, yet the story line still had a serious tone to it as well, but I just loved how the author woven the characters and the story all together, such brilliance in her writing, I was so entranced from the very beginning and I could hardly put this book down. The characters were so vivid throughout the story, both have vulnerabilities that I felt I could relate to. A WONDERFUL STORY!!!

My Favorite Quote
"No, I told you before, you're the only woman that I want." His lips brushed across her forehead, then over her cheek with a gentle touch that was almost reverent. " The only woman I'll ever want"
