Synopsis
Luck be a vampire tonight...
When Nicole Phillips agreed to hire a housekeeper, she pictures someone a little frumpy and almost certainly female. Instead, she gets gorgeous unmistakably male Jake Colson. The man is proving indispensable in the kitchen--and everywhere else. Except Jake might not be a mortal man at all.
...and every night.
Who wouldn't want to be a tall, dark, powerful vampire? Jake, for one. He's barely had time to adjust to his new state before he's roped into a family favor. Still, secretly playing bodyguard to sweet, sexy Nicole is turning out to be the wildest ride of his life. First he'll put a stop to whoever's tageting her. Then he'll prove that this kind of love, and luck, happens only once in a eternity.
My Review
Lynsay Sands has always been one of my favorite authors to read from when it comes to vampire romances. She was one of the first paranormal authors that made me fall in love with the genre. I was given a copy of One Lucky Vampire in return for a honest review through Edelweiss. I was really excited to be able to read Jake's story. After reading this one though, it made me want to re read the whole series. Even though it's not my favorite one in the series, it was still just as fun and unique.
Jake is still adjusting to his life as a vampire. It feels like just yesterday when he was turned when he was almost killed. Now he still has issues with being a vampire, having hated vampires most of his life. When Marguerite comes to him for his help, he can't say no to her, even though he knows that there must be more than one purpose for her asking for his help. A young woman's life is in danger from her soon to be ex husband, who wants her for her money, and after a few murder attempts, Marguerite is convinced that Nicole's life is in danger. Nicole loved her husband in the beginning, but it became apparent that her husband was just using her for her money. When Marguerite convinces her that she needs a cook/housekeeper so she can focus on her paintings, she reluctantly agrees, but she never expect a hunk of male goodness to arrive on her doorstep. Jake at first isn't going to complain with protect a sweet and beautiful young woman, but when he tries to read her, he finds out that she is his life mate. Now he is in a world of trouble, because that is the last thing he needs. But before he realizes it he finds that Nicole is everything he needs.
I found One Lucky Vampire to be a cute read. It does have the same uniqueness that Sands has with this series. Although what I loved about this, is that Jake is unlike her other heroes in a way. He is very bitter in the beginning about vampires and who he is. The way that this author puts together this story is quite enchanting in a way. I loved the way she puts these two together, and there is quite a good mystery involved as well that added a certain flavor to it. A fun and witty vampire romance that is full of endearing characters, thrilling plot, and enough sensuality to fog your windows!!

So she takes on as partner to a experienced yet mortal detective, and excited to be working on her first case, and uncover a puzzling mystery....yet never realizing that it would change her life forever.
My Thoughts
This is the second time that I have read Vampire Interrupted, however that was a couple years ago when the book first came out, and Marguerite has always been one of my favorites to read throughout the series, and her book is exhilarating. A stimulating road with unstoppable action, delectable characters and a story that will take you down the road of danger, intrigue, blazing passion and a powerful love story, a story that will take your breath away when the unexpected happens, and a Delicious story that will have you feasting from the first page....A Five grade on this one!!!
My Favorite Quote:
"We are lifemates, Marguerite. There is no 'appear' about it," he growled. The air in the room was suddenly electric. Her heart rate sped up, blood moving swiftly through her veins as her breathing became shallow...

However Dani needs to find her sister, who is only fifteen years old. What Dani never realized was how much Decker means to her, and that she wants to be with him forever.
My Thoughts
The Immortal Hunter is part of two series written by Lynsay Sands....its the eleventh installment in the Argeneau series, and the second in the rogue hunter series. The Immortal Hunter takes the reader on a thrilling ride of suspense, adventure and romance. There is such a intensity about this story, where two people find each other, when if certain events hadn't ever occured they might have never have found one another, acts although done is violence, brought about a silver lining. There was also such a witty rapore between the characters in this book, and it was great to see characters from other books involved in this story as well such as Lucian (who is my personal favorite) and Samantha (whom anyone that has read her story just adores her) so it was lovely to see it all come together in this story, and looking forward to reading the next one in the series: Nicholas' story...I can hardly wait....this series so far has been such a delightful dessert to read!!
My Favorite Quote In This Book
"You do, just by being here. I can't imagine facing all this alone" She slipped her hand into his, squeezing it. "I guess that's what love is, sharing the good and the bad, the happy and the sad" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The few and the proud are the U.S. Marines," Justin, informed her, seeming rather amused "We CSIS men..."he paused to cast a taunting glance toward Decker and then continued "We CSIS guys are the Cute, Strong, Intelligent, and Sexy" In the looks department the man fit the James Bond image of a spy, she thought. It was just a shame that he was missing the "intelligent" from the Cute, Strong, Intelligent, and Sexy quota. My Grade On This Book

My Thoughts
A Quick Bite is the first in the Argeneau series, and here is Lissianna's story. This is where we get introduced into this series and I found the plot and the characters to be endearing. I loved the whole concept of the hero being kidnapped and tied to the heroines bed. I mean its definitely a great start for a romance, especially with Lynsay Sands at the helm. I found A Quick Bite to be a engaging and fun read, and definitely a hard one to put down. I just loved the plot and the characters equally. It was just a enjoyable read and very witty and full of everything that Sands puts in her books, and she delivers with A Quick Bite!

Okay, so Vincent's had four hundred years to perfect his kissing skills, and he does look rather tempting when he runs around the house shirtless. He's also charming, protective . . . did we mention he can kiss? She finds him irresistable and charming and too good looking for his own good, and the most incredible kisser, but there is doubt in her mind if he will control her and what she feels for him.
My Thoughts
A Bite To Remember is the fifth installment in the Argeneau Series. As far as vampire romances series this is one of my favorites to read. I love the whole scientific angle to being a vampire, so I enjoy these more since they are more on the enjoyable side of being a Vampire. So its always a delight to read any book in this series. A Bite To Remember is Vincent's story, and one of my favorites of the series. I love how Jackie already knows about them, and even though she has this fear, I felt that throughout this book she slowly overcomes her fear and truly embraces what being an Immortal is. It was also a delight to see characters from other books in the series come into play as well. Overall I found this to be a charming romance filled with danger, mystery, passion with endearing characters.

Synopsis: LEGEND HAS IT THAT ARMAND ARGENAU IS A KILLER IN THE BEDROOM
But with all three of his late wives meeting unfortunate and untimely ends, is this sexy immortal a lover or a murderer? That's what Eshe d'Aureus intends to find out. As an enforcer, it's her job to bring rogue vampires to justice, even if the rogue in question makes her blood race red hot.
Armand knew she was trouble the moment Eshe roared into town on her motorcycle, clad in tight black leather. But after three wives who've all had trouble remaining, well, undead, Armand is reluctant to open his heart again. Then strange accidents start to happen, and Armand realizes he may not have much time to prove he's a lover, not a slayer.
MY REVIEW Summary:
Eshe D'Aureus having known Lucius for centuries, who has watched over her as a promise from her father, has asked her, as a enforcer for the council, to look into the deaths of his brothers Armand's three wives, one a lifemate, and the other two immortals but were just married to him. So Eshe goes to investigate, only to find that Armand is unlike any other immortal, for one, she can't read him, which surprises her considering that she is older than Armand, and should be able to read him. So she is left for two weeks with Armand under the pretense of hiding from someone that wants her killed, even though its a lie, but apparently Armand can't read her either, and as she futher investigates, she starts to realize that her appetites for both food and sex has come alive again, which could only mean one thing, that Armand is her lifemate, a lifemate that is under investigation that if proven guilty will end up dead by the council. But as truths become unveiled, so does that passion between Eshe and Armand, and when she realizes that she is falling in love with Armand, she wonders if she can let him go if it becomes necessary, so she must do everything in her power to prove him innocent, so that she doesn't lose him after she has found him.
The Hero
Armand Argenaeu went he saw Eshe for the first time on a motorcycle, clad in leather, was mystified by her. When he hears that she needs sanctuary for two weeks when someone is trying to kill her, he allows her to come onto his farm for a little while until something more permanent can be arranged, because no one defies his brother, Lucian. However he can't read Eshe, which he doesn't know if thats because she is older than him, because his brother hasn't ever been able to read him, or if its because she could be his lifemate. After losing his first lifemate, even though they created a son together, he then married two other women, who both died in fires as did his lifemate. Then his son's lifemate also was killed when she was investigating into his wife's deaths, and his son framed for a murder he didn't commit, and could be staked and baked by the council if no one can prove his innocence. Now after realizing that Eshe could be his lifemate, he is torn, because he doesn't know if he can't protect her, as he couldn't with all those that he had loved before and yet..lost.
The Heroine
Eshe D'Aureus has lived almost as long as Lucius has, and her father was friends with Lucian, whom promised to look after Eshe should anything happen to him, which he has done, and made her into a enforcer for the council. Eshe, once had a lifemate, and had children, but after losing her lifemate, she has yet to find another, which is rare as a immortal. So when she is called to look into Armand's wife's deaths, she is suspicious, but once she meets him, she finds that she can't read him, which is a shock to her. So as she futher investigates Armand, she starts to realize that he has a high chance of being innocence, but she starts to realize that Armand could be her lifemate, and is very protective of him, and to keep him from finding out that she was sent to investigate him. My Thoughts: Born To Bite, was a romantic treasure to read. I was able to get a copy of the Audiobook, and since it was my first time ever listening to Sands audio books, I was curious, but found that I enjoyed the narrator and the storyline and especially the characters that were involved. I always wondered after Nicholas's story, about the story behind Armand and the deaths of his wife's and Annie. So it was a delight to be taken on a thrilling ride of mystery, adventure and love. These two characters Armand and Eshe, were very enriching to read from, and definitely a bit different than her other characters, especially Eshe. Eshe is the kind of female immortal, that rides a motorcycle, that wear leather, and fights just as well as any male enforcer, and definititely fights her own battles. Armand, has suffered many losses, losing so many that he has loved, and even has yet to see his own daughter, for her own protection, and tortures himself for hurting those that he loves but can't afford to see for their own safety. So both these are deep characters, and the whole plot will definitely be a thrilling ride for any reader, and the ending was purely precious, and brought a few tears to this readers eye (but in a good way of course, and those of you who have read Born To Bite, know what I mean) and its definitely one of my favorites of this author!!! Lynsay Sands definitely delivers with every book!!!!

Synopsis Ever since an accident turned her into a knockout vamp, Elvi Black's been catching her z's in a coffin, staying out of the sun, and giving up garlic. She knows there's more to being undead than what she saw in Dracula, but she can't very well ask her mortal friends about proper biting etiquette. But when her neighbors placed a personal ad for her in the local paper, she never imagined she'd meet Victor Argeneau, a vampire who could have his pick of any woman, dead or alive. Rich, powerful, and drop—dead gorgeous, Victor's the perfect man for a novice neck—biter like Elvi. He's willing to teach her everything he knows, but he'll have to do it fast. Someone's out to put a stake through her new vamp life, and only Victor can keep her safe and satisfied for all eternity.
My Review:
When Victor Argeneau is sent to investigate a rumor of a young vampire woman claiming to be wanting a lifemate. As cover he is part of a group of other vampires answering the ad in the paper. However he never thought that he would find his actual lifemate on a mission he council sent him on. Elvi, after being turned a vampire and not remembering how it happened, has little knowledge about it. But when she finds out that her closest friend put a ad in the paper and that there is a group of vampire men out for her hand, so is at a loss, until she meets up with Victor, whom she is drawn to more than any other. She finds out things about herself that she never knew before. Victor having met the beautiful and enticing Elvi, just wants to protect her more from the council than anything. After hearing that she has bitten mortals, and that the whole town seems to know of her true identity, he knows that she maybe be sentenced to die, especially with Lucian at the helm. What he didn't expect was to fall in love with her and hopes that he can find a way to save her life.
I have just loved reading this series, and as I haven't read Victor's story, I was happy that I finally got around to it. It was such a fun one to read, with pure wit. I just loved the story line and the characters within this story. Like all of Sands stories and especially this series, they are fun and full of romance and great plots. The Accidental Vampire comes out on top for one of her best stories. Elvi is beautiful, smart, and caring, and has no idea how to really be a vampire. But as Victor shows her the ropes and the rules, she finds herself falling in love with him, which she never expected, but had hoped for. It kept me on the edge of my seat, and flipping the pages as fast as I could read them. Definitely leaves her reader yearning for more romances like this one.

Synopsis: TRUE LOVE: GOOD FROM THE FIRST BITE...
Etienne Argeneau's three hundred years of bachelorhood were at an end. Either that, or he'd be forever alone. He could only "turn" one human in his lifetime, and most of his kind reserved that power for creating a life mate. If he turned the wrong woman...But what choice did he have? He had to save Rachel Garrett. He didn't know her very well but the beautiful coroner had saved his life. To save hers he would make her immortal.
...TO THE LAST
Rachel Garrett awoke surprised. All she'd wanted was to get off the night shift at the morgue; now here she was, staggering to her feet naked and in a strange place. But everything would be all right. She'd just make like a bat out of-- Then she saw the man of her dreams emerging from his...coffin? And the look in his bright silver eyes said they'd be spending a lot of time together. She just hoped he tasted as good as he looked.
My Review:
This is the only one of the Argeneau Series that I hadn't read, and so it was a delight to read. More so than I thought it would.
Rachel Garrett works in the morgue at the hospital, and when a dead man comes in from a gun shot wound, she is to process him. However she finds herself gazing at the most handsome dead man she has ever met. Rachel thinks she must be crazy, to have the hots for someone who is dead. Then when he wakes up, she is more shocked than ever. A little while later another corpse is brought in, a burnt one from a explosion, however she then realizes he is alive, then a crazy man comes in armed with a ax tries to kill the "supposed dead guy" she moves in front of him and saves his life, however her life is now at risk. Etienne knowing that he had no choice turns her, knowing that she had saved his life, and even though he can only turn one person, not yet fully realizing that Rachel is his lifemate. Etienne then takes her to his home for the turning and adjustment that she is going to need to accept the face that she is a Immortal or Vampire. Etienne, has his life threatened by a mortal, but he is resistant to the idea of killing him, he tries to avoid him. However in doing so, he almost killed his lifemate. Now Etienne's worry is whether or not Rachel will come to accept him into her life. Rachel wakes up confused and not believing that this is all real, her being turned a vampire. So at first she tries to treat it like a dream, (which definitely will fill you up with laughter) and when she starts to reallize that this is real, and after realizes Etienne did it to save her life, she then finds herself seeing the man behind what she at first believed him to be "a soulless bloodsucker" and the journey that will bring these two together will surprise and delight you.
I have found that I truly loved reading this, as this is the only one that I haven't read out of the Argeneau Series, and I don't know why I haven't read it yet, I had thought I had read the whole series. But when I saw Love Bites at the Library, the cover didn't look familiar to me, so when I realized I had yet to read Etienne and Rachel's story, I knew I couldn't resist. Rachel cracked me up through the whole thing, but especially at first with her believing that this situation is just a mere dream, from Etienne's family trying to push them together, which was by far amusing yet satisfying in the end. Etienne, oh boy, he sure needed a shove when learning how to woo his lifemate, he makes so many mistakes I felt so bad for him. It was like I wanted to shake him with common sense, but he proved to know how to do things right in the end. It was definitely a piece of cake that is worth tasting, that is pure romance, danger, and a mix of humor that will have you falling off your seat in amusement.
