1. Joley Drake-A professional singer, and one of the drake sisters. She is smart, sassy and has a smartmouth. Loved her character. She had so much spirit and wit.
2. Gwynne, is a captive in the story, but she is also a leader of a warrior rebels. She is stubborn, crafty and doesn't back down from a fight.
3. Regina Tremaine, I loved this sweet heroine. she just fit the story so well, and I found her character so likeable and easy to relate to. She will do anything for her family but she also has a heart of gold.
4. Sienna Lauren-I loved Sienna, she has fire and is stubborn and passionate. Equal match to Hawke. She doesn't back down from a fight.
5. Rose-She is tough and gritty, and can carrol seven men from animals, to almost gentlemen. Not easy to do. Loved her spirit and inner strength.
6. Lillian Bowman-Oh good ole Lillian.
7. Mairin-She is one powder keg...but I loved her. The hero, Ewan, definitely had this hands full with her.
8. Gillian of Warewick-I just loved her character..she grows so much in this book. I loved seeing her change and become a strong willed heroine. We see how much that she has suffered, but she overcomes that to become a keeper.
9. Claire-I just loved this heroine, she was awesome. She was a sweet character, but also had many depths to her that I found very endearing.
10. Jessi-She was such a fun character. She doesn't let anything bring her down. I felt like we could be good friend in real life. She is driven and passionate, but also has a spirit of adventure.
