MY REVIEW

With her life upside down, she knows she has no choice but to go with him since her life is in danger by creatures she has never seen or heard of before. Lyon knows that Kara is their only hope for their people. The Hero
Lyon is part of the Feral Warriors, the leader of them, and his animal is the Lion. Lyon craves letting his animal out but anable to since their most recent chosen one was killed. However her attraction to Lyon is powerful and wants to be with him...no matter what she has to face.

My Thoughts
Desire Untamed is the first of the Feral Warriors Series. This is the first that I have read from this author, and I am so glad I finally did...This was a astounding read, it was such a whirlwind that I found I was swept away in the magical world that Pamela Palmer has created. I just fell on love with Kara and Lyon, such riveting characters. There was such a likable quality about them, that I couldn't help but smile throughout the whole of the book....the plot was thrilling and full of intensity....A Hot Read!!!!

My Favorite Quote
Mine, his beast roared as he claimed her mouth, his senses exploding.  Just as quickly she began to kiss him back as she seemed to recognize who held her. His beast gentled, his kiss turning hot and needy, recognizing the creature beneath him as his mate, not prey.

Book Review-An Offer From An Gentleman

An Offer From An Gentleman
Bridgerton (3)
Julia Quinn
Avon
Paperback
Published July 2001
358 Pages
Regency Historical Romance
ISBN: 978-0-380-81558-6
Synopsis
Sophie Beckett never dreamed she'd be able to sneak into Lady Bridgerton's famed masquerade ball -- or that "Prince Charming" would be waiting there for her! Though the daughter of an earl, Sophie has been relegated to the role of servant by her disdainful stepmother. But now, spinning in the strong arms of the debonair and devastatingly handsome Benedict Bridgerton, she feels like royalty. Alas, she knows all enchantments must end when the clock strikes midnight.

Who was that extraordinary woman? Ever since that magical night, a radiant vision in silver has blinded Benedict to the attractions of any other -- except, perhaps, this alluring and oddly familiar beauty dressed in housemaid's garb whom he feels compelled to rescue from a most disagreeable situation. He has sworn to find and wed his mystery miss, but this breathtaking maid makes him weak with wanting her. Yet, if he offers her his heart, will Benedict sacrifice his only chance for a fairy tale love?

My Review
Summary:
Sophie Beckett, recently lost her birth father, and even though he never acknowledged her as his daughter, he still made sure she was cared for until he passed away, and she was left with his wife and step daughters, and was treated more like a servant/slave than how she should have been treated. One night she has a opportunity to go to a ball, where she dresses up like a princess and feeling more beautiful and desirable than she ever has before. On this night she meets Benedict, one of the infamous Bridgertons, and shares a passionate kiss, one that will remain burned in her memory forever. Sophie knows that she can never be a part of Benedict's life, but then through a chain of events, she is thrown in his path once more, and knows that she will love him even though she knows they can never have a future together...

The Hero (Benedict Bridgerton)
Benedict, is part of the Bridgerton Clan, however he feels like no one truly knows who he really is. All he is considered is his rank among his family...a silly number that has no meaning. Life is about to change drastically upon meeting a masked woman who dazzles him, and when she flees at midnight, he knows he needs to find her again. Benedict is a artist, a talent that his family doesn't know he possesses, he is one of the more secretive children out of all the Bridgertons. But when he meets a maid in distress, he saves her and something about her captivates him, and she seems familiar to him, but he has no idea where he knows her from, only that he feels breathless in need...and wanting her and plans on keeping her....

The Heroine (Sophie Beckett)
Sophie, is illegitimate born, and as such as always questioned her fathers love for her, and has been ridiculed and mocked all of her life. Sophie is devastated to learn that her father after passing away, didn't leave anything for her except to be left to serve his wife and step daughters, nothing more important than to be treated worse than a servant, and doing the work of three maids instead of just one. She craves love and a family, and to be cherished. From the first moment she sets her eyes on Benedict, she knows that her life and her heart will never be the same....

My Thoughts
An Offer From A Gentleman, is the third in the Bridgerton series. I have just loved reading this series, and this was the first time I was able to read this book ( I know...crazy huh)But I was in the mood for a cinderella type of story, and this one fit the book....I was totally satisfied with this one. I loved every page, every paragraph and sentence. Julia Quinn is one of my favorite historical romance authors....there is a unique way about her writing that is much different from any other....where her stories just draw in her readers and its like you have this compulsion to not let go of the book until you have finished reading it. It had a truly magical side to it, an Enchanting Love Story that will Captivate you!!!!

Yet as they venture deep into the mysterious bayou on a hunt for the killer, Saria finds herself longing for Drake's touch and the sweet release of surrender ..

 MY REVIEW
Summary:
Saria Bordeaux, is part of a family of leopard shifter, so when she finds a dead body in the bayou, she knows she needs to find help, and knows that she can't turn to her brothers, when its obvious the one doing the killing is a shifter. Drake Donovan has been sent to investigate upon hearing about the killing, and is drawn to Saria in a way he has never been drawn to a woman before. Drake knows that there is much more to Saria than meets the eye, and is earnest in finding the killer. Saria, has the strongest feeling upon meeting Drake that he is someone that she can trust, even more than her own brothers. The hunger that is building between her and Drake is powerful, and the connection between them genuine, so much so that she starts to wish for a future with him....

The Hero (Drake Donovan)
Drake Donovan, is a leopard shifter, strong and capable, and very honorable. Drake upon hearing of the killings that have been happening in the Louisianna Bayou, is sent to investigate to discover whats amiss. Upon meeting Saria, and discovering what been happening, he knows that much is amiss here, and plans on staying until it gets solved. Drake just never realized how powerful his hunger for Saria would be and his intent on keeping her

The  Heroine (Saria Bordreaux)
Saria, lost her mother years ago, and her father treated her like one of the boys. Most of her growing up she had to act like the parent, and was very independent. She discovered the true identity of her brothers, and that they were shifters, but having them gone from most of her life, not giving much care to her well being has her doubting their intentions now that they have returned. Saria senses a powerful attraction to Drake and starts to fall in love with the one man who has made her feel more cherished than any other...

My Thoughts
Savage Nature is the fifth installment in the Leopard series by Christine Feehan. I just was so captivated by this story, so far I have truly enjoyed reading this series, but I think this would have to be my favorite book in the series. From the first page I was drawn into the story, the characters were so genuine and real, that I was left feeling like I was in their place, the writing was with such talent that I felt I was seeing it happening for real. The plot was intense and full of a roller coaster ride of suspense and romance. A Thrilling Tale!!!! One you don't want to miss out on if your a fan of Christine Feehan!!!!

My Favorite Quote:
Saria put her hand in Drake's, happiness bursting through her as she fit her body close to his. There was something so sensual, so right and perfect about dancing with one's husband, and she intended to savor every moment.

Question Of The Week
If you were given one chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book)which book would it be from, and what would that place be?

That's a hard question, since there are so many fictional worlds I would like to be in. If I had to choose right now, it would have to be in Christine Feehan Carpathian world, up in the Carpathian Mountain (eastern Europe)

The Friday Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and its tons of fun to do these two memes and find tons of new friends and great blogs!!! So come and join in these two fun memes every friday!!!!

Question Of The Week
Circle Time. Can you tell us five quirky or strange habits about you? We all have them...

1. I love the smell of fresh brewed coffee. For me that is quirky, since none of my friends or family hate it. Kinda weird I know

2. I can't stand the scent or taste of anything from the sea. Seafood is a no no

3. I love the snow....it could snow all year round and I would be happy

4. I usually read multiple books at a time. So I am usually listening to a audiobook, E Book, and at least one to three paperback books....and I am a pretty fast reader.

5. I can usually only reading romantic fiction, I have to be in the mood for anything else, and I just have a hard time reading it.

MY REVIEW

All of his team including to women who includes Jaimie, grew up together on the streets. But when Mack made a mistake years ago with Jaimie, she left him and with her his heart. Jaimie, even though it killed her to leave Mack, she knew it would be for the best, needing more out of a relationship than based on sex, she wanted and needed love, and never felt that she could find that from Mack, but then now that she has built a life for herself, doing what she loves, Mack and his brothers have found her. Mack is shocked to see Jaimie in a place he least expected, and is now more determined to keep her in his life...no matter what is at stake he plans on keeping her....

The Hero (Mack McKinley)

Her life is in danger, but she has risked everything to protect Mack and her boys, and won't risk her heart again until she knows for a certainty that Mack's feelings for her are based more on love than sexual interest.

My Thoughts
Ruthless Game is the eight installment in the Ghostwalker series. I just love Christine Feehan, and she is my favorite paranormal author. The Ghostwalker series are thrilling and exciting, and never a dull moment. Street Game is where we learn about another Ghostwalker team, that grew up together on the streets, learning to survive with only each other at their backs. They are all Ghostwalkers, and I loved how tightly knit they all are. Jaimie and Mack have been lovers before, but now fate has brought them together once more, where danger and intrigue are all the more intense, and the desire between them even more so than before. Such a thrilling love story, so action packed that it left me breathless till the very end!!!!

Published Sep 2009
Regency Historical Romance
ISBN 0061673412

Synopsis

He Had to Marry Her
Everyone in London agrees the Byrons are just as "mad, bad, and dangerous to know" as their poetic non-relation. But Lord Jack Byron is facing a predicament that is scandalous . . . even for him!
Marry a young woman because he lost a bet? Unreformed rake Lord Jack Byron would do anything to get out of it. But the rich merchant who holds his debt insists Jack lead his on-the-shelf daughter to the altar . . . and make her believe it's a love match. With no options, Jack agrees, thinking he'll be shackled to a closed-in spinster.
But Grace Danvers is no milk-and-water miss. When he first encounters her in a London bookstore, Jack is struck by her tempting sensuality and soon becomes determined to bed—and wed—her (in that order!). Yet though he plans to seduce her with his touch, he never dreams he'll also want to win her with his love.

MY REVIEW
Summary:
Lord Jack Byron, is wild and scandalous at times, but when he loses a bet of a amount he can't afford, he agrees to marry the gamblers daughter, but he has to convince her to marry him and make her fall in love with him. Grace, upon meeting the handsome Jack Byron, is flattered that he would want to be with her over how many other beautiful women, when she has never considered herself beautiful, however she feels herself starting to fall in love with Jack. Jack, even though in the beginning this ruse was all about getting Grace to marry him, but he never though that he would find her everything he would desire in a wife, and knows he is starting to fall in love with her, hoping that when the truth comes out she will still realize how much his feelings for her are sincere...

The Hero (Jack Byron)
Jack, never thought that he would be forced into marrying a spinster and plain woman, but upon meeting Grace, he realizes how she is exactly the opposite of plain. Before he even realizes Jack, starts to look forward to his time with Grace, and the passion that flares up between them, he hopes that he can make her fall in love with him, and hopes the love he is starting to feel for her will be enough to make her believe in him

The Heroine (Grace Danvers)
Grace, even though she is considered to be on the shelf and a spinster, never imagined that Lord Jack Byron would have a interest in her. In the beginning she doubts his intentions, but then she starts to open her heart to him, and the desire that awakens in her from his touch, makes her believe that he truly cares for her. But she starts to wonder if there is something that he is hiding from her?

My Thoughts
Seduced By His Touch is the second installment in the Byrons of Braebourne series. Even though I have read the books out of order, I have just loved this series....Its one of my favorite regency historical series. Seduced By His Touch at times were a emotional rollercoaster, and the characters were so vivid from the very beginning that you couldn't help but love them both, there was such a endearing quality, about Jack and Grace, who have led different lives, but there is such a powerful chemistry that develops between them, and a powerful love that will carry you away in the story. From the very beginning Tracy Anne Warren has seduced me in a way that she has done with each and every one of her books!!!

Synopsis
1 New York Times bestselling author Lora Leigh returns to the world of the Breeds where animal instincts can bring a feral pleasure to every man and his willing female mate...

Bad boy Jonas Wyatt's personal assistant, Rachel, has had a child -- an innocent new life that has been put in grave danger because of Jonas's perilous games and calculations played in the shadow-world in which he lives: the dark and sensual world of the Breeds. Now, Rachel is making only one demand of Jonas:. that he finally take responsibility and deliver on the protection that only he can give.

Jonas has known for a long time that it is destiny that Rachel become his mate. He can sense it. He can also sense her reluctance. And for that, he refuses to claim her. He wants her on love alone and not because of the urge of the mating heat. But it is Jonas's destiny to claim her. And he will have his way...

MY REVIEW
Summary:
Rachel's life is turned upside down, when her daughter is taken from her, and knows there is only one breed who can help her, for his plans are what has caused danger to her daughter in the first place. Jonas, knows that Rachel is his mate, but has refused in claiming her for his own, but now a infant, whom he considers as his own, is put at risk, and will do everything he can to protect them both. Even though Jonas knows that Rachel is part of his destiny, he knows he needs her love, and will fight with every weapon he has in order to have theirs be a loving even though heated bond....only he must convince Rachel of his devotion....

The Hero (Jonas Wyatt)
Jonas is the leader of the breeds sanctuary, and his word is law. Jonas has had to be manipulative and cunning for those that are under his command. Jonas is a very strong and capable leader, but when Rachel becomes his assistant, he finds that she is his lifemate, even though refusing to accept her hurts him, he knows that he must be able to convince her first before he can ever experience that true connection he has seen other mated breeds have...and is willing to fight with every breath he can.

The Heroine (Rachel)
Rachel, knew that when she accepted the job as Jonas' assistance that she would have to fight him tooth and nail on about everything, however she never expected to feel a searing heat whenever he was near, or that she would have to come to him for protection for herself and her daughter, and that he would be her destiny in ways that she never imagined....

My Thoughts
Lions Heat is the 21 in the Breeds series by Lora Leigh. I have read this book when it first came out, but I have been a lot of this series lately, and Lion's Heat has always been one of my favorites to read, and last week I was in the mood to read Lion's Heat, especially since I had yet to do a review for the book. Lion's Heat is a thrilling and intense story filled with heat, intrigue and danger, and a romance of two people that are meant to be but fight to deny it in the process. I just love Jonas, even though he is pure alpha male, but worse is that he is very controlling on every situation and can be very manipulative. However he has met his match with Rachel, who can be just as manipulative, but still has a endearing quality about her, that you can't help but cheer her on. There was such magic to this story that you can't help but keep reading from beginning to end without putting it down. A THRILLING TALE!!!!

My Favorite Quote
The woman was everything he could have wanted in a mate. She was the dream he'd never allowed himself to wish for. This was a temptation he knew he could never allow himself to weaken to. It was a vow. And this small woman was shredding his determination one look, one word, one breath at a time.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme that I have just discovered, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

•Grab your current read

•Open to a random page

•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others! Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like.

"As usual, you're not making a bit of sense. I don't know why I put up with you," He swung back toward her, a quick movement of power and grace. He came across the floor like a stalking jungle cat. Mack stopped inches from her, his hand grasping her chin firmly. " I know exactly why you put up with me," he drawled softly, his eyes holding her captive, his thumb stroking across her full bottom lip.

Nothing will convince her to accept a loveless marriage. And so she begins a battle of outrageous resistance, forcing Edward to learn that he must lose his heart in order to win his bride.

MY REVIEW

Summary:
Claire, has been in love with Edward, the Duke of Clybourne, since she was sixteen years old, but then he broke her heart, and even though they have long been betrothed, she has no desire to marry him now. Claire refuses to enter into a loveless marriage, because she has seen what a one sided loveless marriage is like, and has no desire to go through that. Edward, knows that it is his duty to wed, and knows that with her pedigree and manner, she would be an acceptable wife, but little did he know that he would have to fight to win her hand and affections, and that he could awaken her deep passions and desires with his kiss. Despite her resistance of him, he is ever the more determined to claim her as his wife...no matter what it takes to win his bride....

The Hero (Edward Byron)
Edward, accepts that his marriage to Claire, will be similar to other society marriage, and the most he will feel for her is devotion and affection. After seeing his two brothers in love and happy in their marriage, he doesn't know if he could ever open up to someone as they have. Edward accepts his responsibilites and duties as being Duke, and as he was required to marry because of his title, he knows that Claire is the perfect choice to be his bride. My Thoughts
At The Dukes Pleasure is the third in this series by Tracy Anne Warren. I just recently started reading books from this author, and just adore them. At The Duke's Pleasure was such a witty and fun love story, yet the story line still had a serious tone to it as well, but I just loved how the author woven the characters and the story all together, such brilliance in her writing, I was so entranced from the very beginning and I could hardly put this book down. The characters were so vivid throughout the story, both have vulnerabilities that I felt I could relate to. A WONDERFUL STORY!!!

My Favorite Quote
"No, I told you before, you're the only woman that I want." His lips brushed across her forehead, then over her cheek with a gentle touch that was almost reverent. " The only woman I'll ever want"

Nautical Historical Romance
ISBN: 978-0-06-188566-2

Violet Redmond's family and fortune might be formidable and her beauty and wit matchless—but her infamous flare for mischief keeps all but the most lionhearted suitors at bay. Only Violet knows what will assuage her restlessness: a man who doesn't bore her to tears, and a clue to the fate of her missing brother. She never dreamed she'd find both with a man whose own pedigree is far from impeccable.

"Savage" is what the women of the ton whisper about the newly styled Earl of Ardmay—albeit with shivers of pleasure. Born an English bastard, raised on the high seas, he's on a mission to capture a notorious pirate for vengeance. But while Violet's belief in her brother's innocence maddens him, her courage awes him . . . and her sensuality finally undoes him. Now the man who once lost everything and the girl who has everything to lose are bound by a passion that could either end in betrayal . . . or become everything they ever dreamed.

MY REVIEW
Summary:
Violet Redmond, even though she loves her family, tends to feel smothered too much by them, so aching for adventures, she secretly boards a ship in search of her missing brother who is rumored to be a pirate and one who has been sinking ships and taking cargo. Unwilling to believe that her brother would harm innocent people, so goes in search for him, however the Captain of the ship that she is on is hunting this notorious pirate for vengeance since once of his friends was killed by him. The Earl of Ardmay, is furious that this woman could be so courageous and formidable at times, and feisty as hell. So they engage in betting against one another, and before either of them realize it, desire flares up quite like a fire to kindling, and must learn to trust in each other before they lose each other….

The Hero (Lavay, Earl of Ardmay)
Lavay, born a bastard, but was raised on a ship, is now a captain, and upon hearing of a pirate sinking ships, and killing his friend, he has made a vow for justice and has promised to get his vengeance. However a spunky  young woman may just ruin everything, for she intends on saving her brother, but the passion he feels for her starts to grow to love and Lavay wonders if he will have to choose between duty and love.

The Heroine (Violet Redmond)
Violet, loves her family dearly, but has never felt a true part of them. She years for excitement and adventure, and when she hears a rumor about a notorious pirate, she has a feeling that pirate is her older brother, who left England years ago and hasn’t been heard from since. Violet, on a whim, decides to sneak aboard a ship, convinces the captain, through her own kind of smarts, that she must at least go his direction, since she knows he is after her brother, which she is wanting to prove his innocence. Violet, has never had a taste of passion, but from the first moment she encounters Lavay, she knows that it could be her undoing, and she might have to choose between the love of her family and the love of her heart, body and soul.

My Thoughts
I Kissed An Earl is the fourth installment in the Pennyroyal Greens series by Julie Anne Long. I have recently this past year discovered this author, and I have just loved each of her books that she has written (even though its only been a few so far) I just read this so fast that my head spin, I was so caught up in the story and the entertaining characters that had me laughing through most of it. There was such a witty side to the story, even though the plot there wasn’t much except toward the end, it was their interaction with each other that made it far from dull, and a fun and warm love story!!! Although far from my favorite read, it did make me smile, laugh, and feel contentment at the end!!!

My Favorite Quote
I am captain of The Fortuna I have a great responsibility to my men and now to the bloody King of England.  My fortunes are dwindling. My reputation and my entire future rest upon my success in capturing this pirate for bounty. And yet..I cannot sleep at night for wanting you,”

This is yet another adventurous romp sure to please Lindsey fans.

After sharing a passionate kiss with Kimberly, he wants her more than he realized  and is determined to win her affections no matter how long it takes...

The Hero (Lachlan Macgregor)
Lachlan, Laird of Clan MacGregoreven though he steals, he steals to take care of his clan, but of late it hasn't been enough, and knows that drastic measures must be taken to ensure the welfare of the people under his care. After his father died, his mother took his inheritance and fled never to be seen or heard from again. Lachlan bears much anger and vows retribution if he is to ever find her one day. Now he is forced to find a wife, one that has money, however he never expected that Kimberly would be the one woman to be his downfall....

The Heroine (Kimberly Richards)
Kimberly dearly loved her mother but then she died, and her father never cared for her, only saw her as a burden to get rid of. So she goes to Sherring Cross, intending to finding a worthy suitor, one she can love and one that will love her. In the beginning she doesn't believe that Lachlan isn't that 'Suitor' but after sharing a sensual embrace with the man, she begins to have her doubts, needing to know he loves her before surrendering to him...

My Thoughts
Love Me Forever is the second in the Sherring Cross Series. I haven't read the first one, but after reading Love Me Forever I definitely want to read the first one now.  At the beginning it started a bit slow, but it started to pick up fast, and I found the interaction between Kimberly and Lachlan stimulating to say the least. There is definitely fireworks that spark between these two, at first it appears that they despise each other. After they share a embrace, sparks change between them and turns into something much stronger than either of them thought they would ever find, a true love that will last a lifetime....Definitely a beautiful written romance, filled with heat, strong characters and a love story that is thoroughly entertaining.

My Favorite Quote
It was the kind of kiss she should have learned nothing about until she was safely married. It was the kind of kiss designed to provoke passions, and hers were ignited quickly.
