So come and join in on the fun and the hopping. Make new friends and discover new blogs!!! LETS DO THE HOP!!!! Come and check it out at Crazy For Books
The question for the week is: What is your favorite-new-to-you Author this year?
My answer is Gena Showalter, when I read The Nymph King and I just fell in love with this book and the author, and I have loved every one of her books that I have read from her since.
Another author I have loved reading from is Amanda Ashley who is such a great author, full of danger, fantasy and romance...what more could a woman ask for? :)
Feel free to check out these two amazing authors out!!!
I see you've been reading The Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I love it. Ya, some books are better than others but overall it is one of my favorites. Have a great hop!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. Just wanted to say Hi!
ReplyDeleteHello there! Just wanted to say thank you for stopping by my blog! I'm looking at your ipod music thingy to the right and noticing all the Broadway songs. Love it! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit! Glad you liked our blog. Did you see our interview with Christine Feehan? Judging from your blog that would be right up your alley. :) Great reviews - it's nice to find out why your liked it and what was good about the book your reviewing.
ReplyDeleteLoooking at your blog, I had no idea there were so many different types of romance novels. Opening my eyes to something new! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog, I'm hopping back. I've read several Gena Showalter books and loved them. I need to get back to reading hers since it's been awhile. They make perfect summer (or really anytime) reads. I haven't read Amanda Ashley, but she is on my to read list.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read anything on either of those authors but I might check them out! See you next week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Happy reading this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried those authors yet, I think I might check them out - I need new reads, been on a slump - :D

Renee thanks for hopping by earlier today. I am a way long back fan of Mandy Ashley, the books are just so charming and erotically sensual rather than slutty sexual like so many of the more "naughty" reads on the market. Now on the other side of the coin, Gena Showalters LOU books are steamy to the max and wonderful stories to boot... I am not saying that Ashley's books aren't hot, but much more classy about it than some of the others! I am looking at your list of authors and we are "addicted" to quite a few of the same ones and since Romance is not my main reading genre you have quite a few more that have not read yet and some have never heard of! That is why the blog hop is going strong, good way to new to me reads!
ReplyDeleteOh I love Gena Showalter - but I've only rad her Lords of the Underworld series. :) I have a couple of her other books on the tbr shelf. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
