Synopsis
Can A Scandalous Beginning...

Janice Sherwood wants to marry for love, but she’s failed to make a match after two Seasons. Her parents, the Marquess and Marchioness of Brady, arrange to send her to the Duke of Halsey’s country estate as a short-term guest of his grandmother, the dowager, in hopes that she might win the duke’s affections. What they never could have imagined is that Janice would fall for the ruggedly handsome servant, Luke, who lives in the stables and carries an air of mystery and temptation.

Lead To A Fairy-Tale Ending?

When Luke Callahan learns that he is the legitimate heir to a dukedom, he will stop at nothing to claim what is his. But first, he must begin a game of disguise to secure his rightful inheritance. Janice isn’t part of his plan. But by engaging her in this dance of deception, might he lose her forever?
My Review

Janice Sherwood has been coerced by her parents, to seek the attention of the Duke of Halsey, and see if she can gain a marriage from him. Janice has suffered through her seasons and has yet to find a man to marry. So she feels like this is her last chance. When she arrives though, she stumbles across a handsome groom, Luke Callahan, who has a rough exterior but with his penetrating eyes, she knows that he is the one her heart has been dreaming for. At first she refuses to give in to the feelings she has for Luke, knowing that it could lead to no where good. But when he needs her help, she is willing to aid him even if she doesn't know his real reasons. But soon she will have to make a difficult choice, a choice that could cost her the one man she loves more than life itself.

Say Yes To The Duke is the third in the series, and I do love this author, and this series has been such fun so far. I have been waiting for Janice's story ever since I read the first book. This series is about one family, the "house of Brady" and what a fun ride it has been so far. In this story we  see a bit of a "forbidden love" aspect involved. Although after reading it, it felt like there was a lot more to it than that. From the beginning we see such a strong connection between Janice and Luke. Luke is a bit of a scoundrel, and a pretty tough hero. He has a tough past and is trying to reclaim what was stolen from him.  Janice is a very endearing heroine, and I grew to like her with every page being read. She is strong willed, tenacious and a fighter and a perfect match for Luke. These two were a wonder to see together, and there was a feeling of magic in their romance. A romance that was addicting and more than charming. A truly commendable author that writes a romantic tale of witty humor, enticing characters and a sexy plot. A delightful romp to make you giddy from beginning to end!
