My Review
Summary
Peg Thompson has no room in her life for a man in her life. She is busy with four children, and she has a suspicion her family is cursed and dares not fall in love again. So she tries to distance herself from Duncan, who has recently surfaced in her life. Duncan MacKeage comes from a family of magic, however he doesn't possess any. Duncan is busy building new roads since the change in Spellbound Falls. But then he comes across Peg and her four children who create chaos. However he finds himself charmed by this family, that is led by a woman of incredible beauty and inner strength. She is feisty and strong and protects her children like a mama bear, but he knows there is a inner passion in her just waiting to burst free, and he knows he is up to the challenge of helping her let go of some of her inhibitions. He also wants to show her the power of true love and the magic of his family can overcome any curses and prove to Peg how true his feelings are for her.
The Hero
Duncan comes from a family that despite their supernatural abilities, also is very old fashioned. When he first meets Peg, he is practically attacked by her four children and herself. To say he is charmed is a understatement. He finds himself intrigued by Peg and her heathens. Duncan however doesn't know if he truly is the man for her, despite what Mac tells him. Peg, lost the love of her life due to a horrible accident, that she felt was not worth his life. Now she is alone and raising her four children all on her own. She believes that she is cursed, along with all the female members in her family, of never being able to hold onto the men that they love. So now she is determined to build her dream home, raise her four children, and live a life alone if necessary. But when Duncan comes storming into her life, he changes everything she has planned. She also knows he is the only one that can truly protect her from the danger that threatens herself and her children.
My Thoughts
Charmed By His Love is the second in the series, and after just loving the first one I had a lot of expectations for this one. Even though I really enjoyed it, I didn't exactly fall in love with everything that happens. It took a bit of time to get fully into it, but once I did, it was almost near impossible to put down. I found myself charmed by this story, and even though the whole "Curse" thing really didn't fly with me, I found the rest of the story enchanting. I really loved Duncan, who is a ' he man', but I also loved the way he was around Peg. She is what you would call feisty and stubborn, but Duncan handles her really well. I found this to be such a fun read, with witty humor, and a sweet romance that will charm any reader. A Delight to read!!! Looking forward to reading more from this series.....

Summary
Olivia Baldwin, is barely making it, trying to make Inglewood Camp be successful, and saving up so she can own it herself one day. Then one day one of her co workers attempts to attack her, but then finds herself rescued by Mac, who finds himself very protective of Olivia, who needs his protection. Olivia is strongly attracted to Mac, but she doesn't know if she feels worthy enough to be with him. But when he kisses her, she stops thinking and only feels...Olivia also senses that there is something strange going on with Mac and his son. They aren't even close to normal, and there is something about Mac, that makes her want to run from him at times, because she senses a power about him. Mac, has recently discovered he has a son, and so he decided to come to Spellbound Falls, for some much needed bonding time with Henry. But then he meets Olivia, who intrigues him and even though he knows he could never truly love Olivia, he vows to unlock a hidden desire deep within Olivia, not knowing that he will find the love he thought he would never be able to have...
The Hero
Maximilian Oceanus, is the son of the king of Atlantis, and has certain abilities that makes it so he connects with nature, and especially the sea. After discovering that he has a son, he is determined to guide his son and raise him, but has no idea how to truly do that. But then when he meets Olivia, and knows there is something unique and special about her. Mac knows that even thought their worlds are very different..but he wants to show Olivia not to hide herself, but to make the passion burn within her like it is burning in him.
The Heroine
Olivia's only motivation in life is to try to find a life for herself here in Spellbound Falls, and to raise her daughter on her own. Olivia was a orphan, but found a older couple who treated her as their own daughter. So she has stayed here to be close to them, but then, six years ago her husband died, and now is a single mother. Even though her marriage wasn't exactly a dream come true, she did what she could to make best of the situation. Now she is barely keeping the Camp together, scrimping as much as she can so one day she can own it. Then when she gets rescued by Mac, she knows her world is changing. She doesn't know if she feels worthy enough to be with this gorgeous specimen of a man, who is so protective and caring towards her and her daughter, and without wanting to, she knows she is falling in love with Mac and wants more than anything to be a part of his life....forever.
My Thoughts
Spellbound Falls is the first in the most recent series by Janet Chapman. I have to say I can't believe I fell behind in this author. When I discovered this book in the library, I knew I just had to read it. Ever since I discovered this author, I have just loved the tender romances and witty humor found in her works, and now I have found another story that I have fallen in love with. Spellbound Falls is a bit different than her other books. It brings in what I would call "New Blood" where the hero is very powerful, royal and is from Atlantis, and is also known as a wizard. I really loved the way the story was put together, and it seemed a bit different than her other books. Spellbound Falls is a enchanting romance, filled with witty humor and a sense of fun and adventure. I loved the creativity and appealing story line that just draws you in instantly....A Magical Read!!!!

Sara Keegan, is a very logical personal and doesn't believe anything other than what she can physically see and touch. Despite the way her aunt tried to convince her otherwise, that she had special psychic gifts, all Sara desires is to run her bookstore. Then she meets Quinn, who is unlike any man she has ever met before. She knows that there is something about him that connects her to him. Sara knows what it is like to live a life of solitude. Quinn knows Sara is his firestorm, his future mate, and even though he is a loner, and mistrusts his own people, he trusts Sara, he knows that she is the one person that can understand him more than any other. Despite the danger that is circling around them, a strong passion sparks between Quinn and Sara, one that could melt ice. However there is Sara's true fate, one that he knows he must fully embraced the life he has tried to hide away from, so that he may be able to share his life with the one person he loves and intends to keep....Forever.
The Hero
Quinn, is a were dragon, one that has ability to change his form, and is known as the "Smith" of his kind, being able to work with metals and fires. Quinn lost his family in a most horrific way, and has only known betrayal by the leader of his kind. Quinn has only known loss and solitude, but then he meets his "Firestorm", a woman with passion and fire to match his own, one he could see sharing his life with and having a family with. But there is a danger that threatens their love and their future, and only if he will trust his people and his own abilities will he be able to embrace his destiny with Sara.

My Thoughts
Kiss Of Fire is the first in the series, and I have found a new series that I have fallen in love with. After reading Kiss of Fury, I knew I had to read the first book, and I am so glad I was able to. Kiss Of Fire, was just as enticing as Kiss Of Fury. I really liked seeing the romance that develops between Quinn and Sara. There was something very precious about the way this story is written. I really enjoyed how the author creates a world of dragons, both good and evil dragons, and we see the makings of a war between the two, and meanwhile a development of a romance. I really enjoyed the way the author made the story flow so well, and her descriptions of the world that she creates. There is such a sense of magic and mystery about this series, and I truly enjoyed the unique quality of this story, and the way the author draws the reader in. A Well executed story filled with romance, passion, adventure, fun characters, and exciting plot....A Brilliant read!!!!!

Kiss Of Fire is the first in the series, and I have found a new series that I have fallen in love with. My Review
Summary
After losing her first husband, Garrett, it took her several years to get over his loss, with the help and comfort of her second love, Tristan. Now married a year to Tristan, Sophie can't imagine a life better. But then Garrett comes storming back into her life, and determined to get his wife back, even though he has been gone all of these years. Sophie at first, knows where her heart truly lies, with Tristan. But being in such close proximity to Garrett again, has caused her to doubt her true feelings. But there is a danger lurking in the corners of her home, and with the help of Tristan and Garrett, she will try to uncover the truth.....and will find out who hold the key to her heart for once and for all....
The Hero
Tristan, has always loved Sophie, even before his cousin married her. He has always known his feelings for her. When Garrett first wanted Sophie for his wife, Tristan to fight him on it, wanting all three of them to live in harmony. But now that he has married Sophie, he refuses to just let Garrett take his wife away from him. But despite the tense situation between himself and Garrett, he also knows there is something going on, something that is trying to undermine everything he holds dear, his relationship with his cousin, and the love he has for Sophie.
The Heroine
Sophie, suffered for years after grieving the loss of Garrett. Even though she misses her first husband, Tristan has been the one she has been able to always rely on. Then when Garrett shocks them both with his return, and now Sophie has a difficult choice to make...but only if Garrett lets her. Even though she loves Garrett and he awakens a passion that once existed between them, she can't deny her true feelings for Tristan, and how he made her believe in love again....
My Thoughts
Even though for the most part part I found this to be a enjoyable story, it was my least favorite of the series. It might have been better if I had read it first instead of last, however I think it also had something to do with the love triangle that exists. I have to say I just loved Tristan, I thought he was the true hero....trying to fight for the woman he loves. Sophie on the other hand, wasn't my favorite. I understood how you can have mixed feelings, but I just felt like through most of it, she wasn't being true to Tristan, as much as I would have liked. Garrett, is a very complex character in this story, and at times you like him and at others you just wish he would go away. Although I did like the bit of suspensful portion of the plot, and the mystery that keeps the reader engaged in the story. I don't know if I would have kept reading, if it didn't have some positive aspects besides the love triangle. I will admit that there have been love triangles that I have been okay with, but this one seemed so forced and out of place, and wasn't the most easiest of books to read due to certain circumstances. Although toward the end I really enjoyed the story a lot more. Overall a fun and enjoyable story with intense moments that keeps one involved!!!

Then when Garrett shocks them both with his return, and now Sophie has a difficult choice to make...but only if Garrett lets her. Even though she loves Garrett and he awakens a passion that once existed between them, she can't deny her true feelings for Tristan, and how he made her believe in love again....
My Thoughts
Even though for the most part part I found this to be a enjoyable story, it was my least favorite of the series. It might have been better if I had read it first instead of last, however I think it also had something to do with the love triangle that exists. I have to say I just loved Tristan, I thought he was the true hero....trying to fight for the woman he loves. Sophie on the other hand, wasn't my favorite. Summary
Alex, has worked very hard to make the "Green Machine" happen, but then one tragic night, her lab is destroyed, and her partner tortured and then killed. She finds herself in the hospital, having dreams of Dragons, and then she finds herself being kidnapped by a breathtakingly handsome man where sparks happen whenever they touch. When she learns that he is a Dragon Shapeshifter, she is shocked, and can't believe that such things are real. Alex is stubborn and is desperate to make the Green Machine become public known, but only with the help of Pyr, will she be able to make her dreams come true....and to hold onto a man who has stolen her heart....
The Hero
When Donovan Shea learns that Alex is his 'Firestorm', he is furious with those that knew and didn't tell him. Now he has a woman that is always leaving him and his protection to retain information that is vital to the Green Machine. Donovan is a loner, and even though he is loyal to the Pyr and fights side by side with them, he knows who he really is. So at first he denies what he truly feels for Alex, but then he comes to the point where he doesn't know if he could let her go, because she has stolen her way into his heart.
The Heroine
Alex, has devoted her life to the coming about of the Green Machine. When she see's her lab destroyed, and her partner and friend killed brutally, she doesn't know if she will be able to surving the coming storm. At first she wants to be indepenent and do things on her own, without the help of a alpha male who, it seems, is always furious with her. But a passion ignites and she only wants to surrender to the storm....
My Thoughts
I was looking for something new and different, a author I hadn't read before, and I came across Deborah Cooke. I have a weakness for dragon shifter romances, so I knew when I read the blurb, I had to try it out. I have found a new favorite author. I just loved everything about this book, although I thought Alex could be too stubborn for her own good, and kind of an idiot thinking she can protect herself against dragons. But I really enjoyed the blossoming romance that develops between Donovan and Alex. There was a unique quality about the plot and the way this author weaves a beautiful story of adventure, passion, and love. I really loved Donovan, he seems so like a man of steel, but I just loved seeing how he weakens toward Alex and the way he treats her is so precious. I also enjoyed getting to know the other Pyr members, and I can't wait to read more books from this author. A WINNER!!!

My Review
I finally was able to get a hold of this book, which is a part of the most recent series by one of my all time favorite authors. I really enjoyed how this author put the story together. I also loved the romance that grows between Mark and Maggie. Both characters were very endearing and you just want them to get together throughout it all. I especially fell in love with the little girl, Holly. I found her to be a bundle of joy, and very loveable. Even though it was a short story, it was deeply satisfying. Overall a beautifully woven love story that teaches about the real spirit of Christmas and most of all....True Love!!! I am definitely going to have to read the next one in the series as soon as I can !!! A TREASURE WORTH READING!!!
