Synopsis:
Bestselling author Julie Leto conjures a delicious romance that’s as real and compelling as the couple whose remarkable story she tells.
New York lobbyist Michael Davoli feels like he’s been sucker punched when he meets Anne Miller at a concert. When fate leads him to move into same Albany apartment building where Anne lives, Michael falls hard.  After all, Anne’s hot, his dog likes her, and she’s catnip to the senses after she picks a lock faster than Sydney Bristow can disarm a nuke.
Always fiercely independent, Anne’s crackerjack reporting skills and keen intellect are no match for the chemical reaction she has to this man with electric blue eyes. But while Mike effortlessly holds her with his gaze, he withholds the embrace she longs for.  Why is he so distant? Has Anne misread his signals?  When he finally confesses that he suffers from a neurological disorder that he’s learned to disguise from others but could keep him from ever holding her through the night—she makes a choice that changes the rest of her life.
Anne isn’t about to let anything like Tourette’s Syndrome keep her from the man of her dreams. But Mike has a second secret. Will this secret be the one that even a grand passion cannot survive?
With her trademark wit and sensual artistry, Julie Leto knocks this unforgettable romance out of the park and straight to the heart.  Based on the true love story between Mike Davoli and Anne Miller, Hard to Hold is a modern day fairy tale that proves that the best things in life—and in romance—are real.

MY REVIEW

Summary:
Anne Miller is independent and a crime reporter and has yet to find a man that she could stick with, her friends call her picky.  But when she is out with her friends at a concert, alone with no date, she ends up meeting Michael Davoli, a new york lobyist. Anne Miller is strongly attracted to Michael and longs for his embrace, but despite the fireworks between them, he start to distance himself from her at time, and Anne starts to question herself wondering if she had misread the signals he was giving her. But then Michael confesses a secret that he is afraid could keep them apart. Michael has suffered from a neuroligical disorder called Tourette's Syndrom. So thinking that he could possibly hurt her with this syndrome, he is afraid to have anything serious with this one woman that he knows he has a strong connection with. But will this secret keep these two souls from finding the most precious love?

My Thoughts:
Hard To Hold is part of the True Vows trilogy, and I am so glad that I was able to receive this book and be able to read it, which was read in just a couple of hours, it definitely drew me in from the first line. This was such a emotional evoking romance, and a reality romance at that, I was really impressed on how well this was written. This is the first that I have read anything from Julie Leto, and I am definitely in love with her writing style, and I am looking forward to reading more of her work. Hard To Hold is definitely one of those stories that will tug at your heart strings, hoping that this couple will let them overcome their fears and take that leap of faith to their relationship. Definitely after reading Hard To Hold that true love does exist out there, thanks to True Vows for making reality a true romance.
