Synopsis (Goodreads)
Nadiah has the Sight—the ability to see into the future. But the one thing she can’t see is how she’s ever going to be free of the blood bond her parents forced her into when she was only six. Her fiancée is an evil bastard who delights in torturing her and her only way out of a loveless marriage is for a Kindred warrior to challenge the hated bond. But Nadiah has no warrior to challenge for her—she just has Rast.

Adam Rast doesn’t know why he feels so protective and possessive of Nadiah, only that he’s willing to kill or die to protect her. When the chance to set her free arises, he takes it without hesitation, even though his lack of Kindred blood could mean his defeat or even his death. But Rast has a secret, one even he doesn’t know he possesses. When he undertakes Nadiah’s quest, the truth comes out in a strange and provocative way.

Can Nadiah and Rast live through their ordeal? Will the truth about Rast set them free…or kill them? You’ll have to read Revealed to find out.
My Review

Adam Rast is a detective and is very passionate about his career. When he first meets Nadiah he doesn't believe her unique gifts, even though he has some of her own. Nadiah is insistent on helping him finding the missing women, but when she has one of her visions she collapses in his arms, and before he realizes it he is caught up in something he can't let go of. Nadiah is Kindred, and even though she is blood bonded to a vicious and evil man since she was child, she is desperate to hold on to her precious freedom. But when he ends up shooting her with pain straight to her chest, that she can barely function, she knows her time is running out. She has dreamed of a man rescuing her, because only a strong enough Kindred male can save her from a lifetime of rape and abuse. But the only man she has dreamed of is Adam Rast, which is strange because he isn't kindred right? When Adam finds out the truth of Nadiah's situation a deep part of him can't resist claiming her for his own, and fighting for her in a challenge against her blood bond that she was forced into. But as he helps Nadiah there is a secret of his past, a secret that could either save them or destroy them both?

Revealed is the fifth installment in the Brides of the Kindred series. I recently discovered this series just a couple months ago, and oh boy do I love it. This series is a science fiction based erotica. Although it is under the "Erotica" category, it is so much more than that. As many of you know, I am super picky about Erotica's. I just love a solid romance, so Erotica has to be well done in order for me to enjoy it. This series is by far one of my all time favorite erotica series. It is a science fiction based theme, where we have humans dealing with aliens called the Kindred. These Kindred are fierce warriors and protectors. They have a strict society with many rules, and a strong belief system. I would highly recommend you read this series in order since the books are interconnected and you may get a little lost if you try reading in the middle of the series. From the first book I was very intrigued by the set up of the series and the unique way this author tells a romance. And yes they are romance based and in fact I think they are more romance than erotica in many ways. There are a couple books that have  a few bdsm related scenes, but nothing too dramatic or over the top.

In Revealed we have Nadiah and Rast, who we have seen bicker and fight for a couple books now, so I have been looking forward to their story, because even from the second book when we are first introduced to them, we see sparks fly like wildfire. There is a wonderful tension between them, and once this story begins, you see a deeper connection form between them once Nadiah is put in danger. I loved how even though Rast is supposedly human, he looks and acts like a kindred male. Alpha and possessive and so protective of Nadiah, it makes you want to cry. I love how he sweeps in to save the day knowing he may die. The plot is never ending with intrigue and mystery and such a sweet love story mixed in. It does have some sensuality into it, but I felt like it was balanced with everything else going on in the story. I love the focus of their relationship that was ever present all the way through. And oh boy was there some sweet and tender moments, that I couldn't get enough of this story. A impossible to put down read that I soaked up like a sponge.

Overall a telling story of sacrifice, love and devotion. A passionate tale of two people that are destined for each other, with riveting scenes, engaging characters and a plot to sweep you away! BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN AND LEAVES ONE BREATHLESS!!
