well my character is Cindy Harper from Night Bites-Cindy has lived for hundreds of years, Cindy currently runs the Woo  Woo Inn, which brings around weird guests that believe in the paranormal, hoping to find someone like her, for she doesn't know who she really is, a vampire. She just knows that she never ages and never been able to have friends for too long, because she stays the same and doesn't age like they do. Cindy has a ice cream flavor for every emotion. Cindy is a endearing character that just charms you throughout the book, just makes you want to go and give her a hug, she is full of life and passion and the love from a man will bring out her passions  and dreams from life.

Honestly not about romance novels no, most of my family and friends aren't big into fiction and even then don't read much. So that's why I love having all of my friends on here, is there are many that I can relate with when it comes to the books that I read.

Do you have a favorite hero so far this year? if so who?
That a tough question there are so many heroes that I have just fallen heads over heels in love with but a couple of my favorites are Connor from Vampire Mine-he is one sweet man, one that I would like to savor for the rest of the year and then eat up for dessert LOL My Second choice would have to be Dominic From Bonded By Blood-now the moment I started reading this book, I just wanted to ravish that man lol I love how protective he can be yet tender and loving too.....who could resist such a hero???

MY REVIEW 
Summary:
Alara, knows that if she doesn't find a male to have sex with soon, her cells will degenerate and she will die. Her race, all the women must have sex in order for them to survive, and Alara has always felt like it was a curse, and has endeavored to find a way to fix it. Alara is a Dr and a genius when it comes to identifying DNA and fixing problems, its her lifes work, however she never thought that she would end up kidnapped by a Rystani Warrior..Xander, an enemy and the one that if she doesn't give in to her needs she will deteriorate and die, but in return Xander expects her to help find a cure to the virus that is spreading across the galaxy. Alara starts to feel more than just sexual need for Xander, she starts to feel like she could be falling for him, and she knows that it could never be possible, considering his career and she would just be a crutch for him, but the power of love can overcome anything if only one learns to trust in love?

The Hero 
Xander, is a Rystani warrior and commander of his own ship, but has come to Alara because she is the only one that can help him in finding a cure for this terran virus that is spreading across every world. The only way he can think of to stop it is with her help, even if he has to kidnap her in order to get her coroperation, but he never expected that she would need his body in order to survive, but the more he spends with her, the more he needs her and wonders if he can ever let her go....


The Heroine 
Alara, has always despsised having to rely on males for survival. Growing up Alara saw how badly her father treated her mother because of her needs, and never wants to depend on someone like that, a man that would be callous and not care a whit for her feelings. So when Xander gives her the ultimatum use of his body in return of helping him find the cure for a Terran Virus, she gives in knowing she doesn't have much of a choice, but the more she is around him, the more she begins to truly like him, for he has treated her with more respect and caring than any other male she has ever known...


My Thoughts 
Ultimatum is the third installment in the Rystani series by Susan Kearney. This is the first book that I have read from this author. I was browsing the library looking for a new author, and then when I saw the cover and the blurb for this book, I knew I had to try it out. Boy am I thrilled to have read Ultimatum, it definitely satisfied every romantic craving I had for the day LOL It was full of action, romance, suspense, mystery, and love. From the beginning to the end, I was raptured and couldn't put it down, the characters were enthralling and the plot had my head spinning I was turning the pages as fast as I could get them read. One of the most riveting reads I have had the pleasure of reading so far....I LOVED IT!!!! So if you love the futuristic romance, this one is for you!!!!

MY REVIEW

Summary 
 Parker Brown, is the last of the Bride Quartet, who is left that is not engaged. Parker is the wedding planner, and the organizer of the Vows. Parker is the one that makes the bride's dreams come true when it comes to weddings. Malcolm Kavanaugh is a mechanic, and a very successful businessman, and is strongly attracted to Parker, and can't forget the kiss she planted on him, but now he wants to chase after her with her long legs. So amidst all the planning and the weddings and events, Parker is dazzled by Mal's kisses who just about singed every part of her body with sensation, and knows that she could very well fall madly in love with this man who has caught her off guard with every passionate embrace and into a whirlwind of romance and the road to love....

The Hero (Malcolm Kavanaugh)
Malcolm, or knows as Mal throughout this story, is a very complex man, even though on the outside seems simple enough to understand. Mal didn't grow up with prestige and opportunity like Parker did. He lost his father years ago, and life wasn't easy on him or his mother, and now has become successful. Mal has a hard time sharing his past with anyone, he would just as soon forget it and think more about the present and the future, but sooner rather than later he will have to learn to trust his past to the one person that he could trust it with...

The Heroine (Parker Brown)
Parker, although she may have grown up with wealth and every advantage, never having to work if she didn't want to, has made a very successful business with her three friends, and something that gives her fulfillment and satisfaction from life. Parker has never found love like her friends have, and wonders if she will at times, until Mal comes into her life kissing her with such heat, that catch her off guard, and without realizing it she knows she could easily fall into the trap of love if she hangs around him for much longer....

My Thoughts 
Happily Ever After is the fourth in the Bride Quartet, and I am so glad I finally got my hands on this one. I was thrilled to start reading Parker's story and Nora Roberts didn't disappoint. This would be my favorite series that she has written so far. Malcolm is the kind of character that any woman couldn't help but fall for, and I loved the 'man in the caveman' attitude he sometimes get, it made my heart skip a beat with sensation, making me wish I was Parker, instead of just the reader. There was such a delightful aspect to this story, with the way these two just fell for each other, that it was like falling in love all over again. Happy Ever After is a sensational read, with a fairy tale type romance contemporary style, a story woven with tender romance on every page, that will satisfy you until the end.

My Favorite Quote

He moved fast, giving her a quick yank that had her body colliding with his. The way she said excuse me , like a veteran schoolteacher to an unruly student made him grin before he took her mouth with his. It was even better than pie. Soft, tasty, ripe, with just a hint of shock to cut the sweet.

Summary 
Zayne, a Djinni, the minstrel for his people, but of late his song has been wreaking discord among his people, and his music needs to restore balance to his world. But then he starts feeling the yearning of his mate, one who is living on Earth, and knowing that she can restore balance and be his other half, he goes to her, intending on claiming and keeping her as his own and taking her back to his home. However things don't always go as planned. Madeline, never expected that when she agreed to house sit for her friend, but never thought that there would be a guest she would have to live with, a man who is so sexy you could have a heart attack from all the sensations he sends out. However Madeline is firm in her belief that nothing can get to her, no matter how sensual a man may be, but life throws unexpected surprises and Zayne will not only be her downfall in love but will help heal scars from her past and where she will find a love that will leave her spellbound to his side....


The Hero (Zayne)
Zayne, minstrel for all of Kaf, is the one who keeps harmony with his song, but needs his soul mate to complete him and bring back balance to not only himself but for his people and his world. Madeline, has suffered past hurts, one is her deathly fear of performing in front of anyone, a fear that can make her sick and even put her in pain, and a fear she doesn't know if she could ever overcome, but she starts to realize that she didn't always have this fear, and with Zayne able to uncover the reason why she has it, but only through her love for Zayne will she be able to make the sacrifice to overcome it fully and be with him.....

My Thoughts 
Spellbound is the fourth installment in the Djinn series written by Kathleen Nance. Spellbound is a story woven with magic and love and filled with thrilling excitement that will curl your toes, and leave you bewitched. Spellbound is a story of two people that come from different worlds, however they are connected in a way that will save the both of them in the end.  I had such a thrilling time reading Spellbound and I was captivated with the story, the characters and the plot that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, and I was so entranced with the story that I could hardly put it down. Its a magical romantic story that will leave you satisfied and full of laughter until the very last page. Definitely a treasure to keep on your book shelves.

Summary:
Elspeth Stewart, pregnant and recently widowed, lives alone until a stranger comes to her door, and through a turn of events ends up tied up on her bed, and injured. Bethie knows that she is alone now and pregnant and must do whatever she can to protect herself, especially from a man that points a gun to her head. But Nicholas Kenleigh goes from a stranger, to the man that helps her birth her daughter, and a man that she falls in love with. Nicholas has suffered a painful past and finding Bethie and her daughter has revived him in ways that he never expected. Now as they journey together to escape danger that could put all of their lives in jeapordy, the strength from the newfound love with heal them both of past wounds....

The Hero (Nicholas Kenleigh)
Nicholas, once was close to his family, but now has estranged himself from them as means of protection, because he believes himself a cold and dangerous man after being tortured by indians and seeing things that torment him. Six years have past since he has suffered so, and his heart is like ice, until he comes across Bethie, whose strong spirit melts the ice around him, and makes him believe that he can heal from those tortured wounds.

The Heroine (Elspeth Stewart)
Bethie, has suffered a tormented past, and has learned not to believe in herself or anyone else. As a young girl she was violated by her step brother, and then forced to marry a man twice her age or more so, and one who died and left her alone and pregnant to fend for herself. But when Nicholas comes to her home and ends up tied to her bed she knows that he has made her believe again....

My Thoughts 
Ride The Fire is third in the Blakewell/Kenleigh family series, by Pamela Clare. Ride The Fire was filled with one adventure after another. I had such a fun time reading this one. This was the first book to read by this author, and I just fell in love from the first page. From the heroine tying up the hero...to them journeying together to escape dangerous indians who intent on killing them, and we see a tremendous change from Nicholas who is a renegade and cold inside, turns into a passionate and protective man and a tender love story where two people heal each other through the love they feel. A truly impressive story, one that will have you turning the pages as quickly as you can read them!

After living in the colonies, and having to suffer through indian raids, one having killed her family apart from her two sisters, they decided to make a new life for themselves in England. Now she is forced to marry a man because of respectability and for the sake of her younger sister. But when the Duke of Colster ends up in her carriage, she knows that he is temptation itself, despite how much she hates what has happened because of him, she can't deny the passion he brings out in her.

My Thoughts 

In The Bed Of A Duke is the second installment of the Cameron Sisters by Cathy Maxwell. I have read this series before but its been a couple of years, so I thought I would re read them again, but I have always loved In The Bed Of A Duke, I loved how the story flows from two people hating one another, then turning into them falling in love. There is also a mystery and dangerous side to the story that will keep the reader on their toes, and fully engaged throughout the whole of the story. There was also such a emotional side to the story as well, that will pull at your heartstrings. In The Bed Of A Duke is a delicious read!!!!

Summary:
Connor Buchanan has lived for almost 500 years, and believes that his friends are all fools to have fallen in love like they have, because Connor has only known pain when it comes to loving someone. Then desperate to kill their enemy, he comes across someone that would change his life and his heart, Marielle. Marielle is a angel that has been cast down from heaven, after disobeying trying to only doing the right thing, now without her wings or all that is known to her, she feels lost and confused, but one man has protected her...Connor. Marielle knows inside his heart and the pain he feels and trying to help heal him, so ends up feeling yearning for him and love...and wonders what she would sacrifice to keep him in her life...even if that means giving up returning home.


The Hero (Connor Buchanan)
Connor, has lived 499 years, and for him it has only been existing, he has become bitter after suffering heartache in his past and the mistakes that he has made. Connor knows better than falling in love, because out of personal experience he has only felt grief and pain and has no desire to go searching for it again. But when he protects an angel, even at the cost of losing his friendship with his closest friends, he knows that he is in deep trouble, for she touches him where no one has been able to reach.

My Thoughts 
Vampire Mine is the tenth installment in the Love At Stake Series by Kerrelyn Sparks. Vampire Mine was a pure delight, and had me thirsting for more after each page. Ever since I started reading this series, I have looked forward to when Connor would make his downfall to love, and Kerrelyn Sparks didn't disappoint....I just fell in love with Marielle, she had such a innocence about her, very curious about everything (which was hilarious at times) that you couldn't help but like her. Connor is very rough around the edges, but in this story we see a different side of him, a side that Marielle brings out in him. Vampire Mine was such a endearing read, and one of my favorite romances to read. The story was filled with adventure, witty interaction, passion and a tender love story that will leave you breathless. Definitely a jewel you don't want to miss out on. I Loved it!!

I would have to say definitely yes, a cover will sway me on whether or not I should read a book or not. For example I have never really like the older covers of Christine Feehan's Carpathian series, yet this is one of my favorite paranormal series to read. So there are times when I know I need to just try the book out despite the cover.

Summary:
 Ally O Neill, has recently gone through a divorce after trying to be a perfect wife for five years. Now with her great aunt Katy, she is a tourist and a famous author on a best selling series. Now Ally wants no man, no matter how irresistable he may be and that includes Brian Byrne. Brian Byrne is from the future, and is a champion of a sex spectator sport, he has come to the past for a vacation and has agreed to have no sex during the duration however when he meets the one woman that resists his charms, he is immediately drawn to her. So even though he has agreed to a no sex clause in his contract, he intends to show Ally what true passion is like, but what he never expected was to fall in love in this game of his....


The Hero (Brian Byrne)
Brian, ever since he was sixteen years old, has been involved in sex games, and is way good at it too. He has trained hard to be where he has, and has been able to help his kids (those on the streets) get a education and careers, so they can have a better life than he did. When Brian was little his mother promised that she would return and she never did, so ever since than he made a vow to honor each promise he made, no matter the circumstances. He is in a contract for five more years of sex games, but once he meets Ally his loyalty is divided and he must choose between honor and love

Ally, did everything she could to make her marriage work, she was the perfect wife for five years, but then he left her for another woman, and knew her life was over. Now she has worked hard, and is in Scotland being a tourist, needed a vacation and to relax...but then she comes across Brian, who claims to be from the future, and a literal sex god, but she starts to see something deeper in this man.

My Thoughts 
Night Games is written by Nina Bangs, and I had such a fun time reading this. It was such a fun and witty romance, that I never stopped laughing. Night Games is a bit different than some of the other books that I have read from her, definitely has a humorous ring to romance if there ever was one. Night Games is a very enthralling and sensual read, one that will heat up the room like matchsticks.  There was one problem that I had with this book, was that Ally was so gullible at times, she just accepted that Brian was from the future, so easily, that it didn't seem real especially at the beginning of the story, however as the story progressed, it started to become more realistic, and the story became captivating and riveting, that I started to fall in love with it. So overall a humorous and enjoyable read!!!

MY REVIEW

Summary:
Destiny, as a child suffered and was tortured and abused by a vampire, and then turned by him, but there is still good within her, even though she thinks she is evil, having to kill to survive. There is one man, a carpathian, who has always suffered right with her, and been her light, but there is a great part of her that doesn't believe she deserves any joy or love in her life. Then he shows up in her life, real and she knows that her life is about to change forever. Nicolaoe has been searching for Destiny ever since their first connection when she was but a little girl, and once he sees her knows that she is his lifemate, but knows that through all the trauma she has gone through in her life, he must take it slow for her, no matter the cost to himself. Hoping that once she learns to trust him, that she will come to love him...


The Hero (Nicolae Von Schreider)
Nicolae, has suffered through the centuries, but has always had his brother at his side. Having been one of the old warriors that was under Mikhail's father, he has fought long and hard through the long years, and is powerful, of the old world, and very much Alpha in many ways. But when a little girl's cries reaches him, he connects to her, helping her, all the while searching for her, and when he realizes that she is his lifemate, he will stop at nothing to keep her in his life.


The Heroine (Destiny)
Destiny, ever since she was six years old, was tricked and her family was killed, and she was abused in many ways, and then turned by him, and even though she isn't a vampiress, but a Carpathian, there is still a evil poison in her, and she is always in pain. Destiny doesn't believe that she doesn't deserve any goodness in her life, for having had to kill to survive through the years. But she makes a friend -Mary Ann Delayney, who teaches her to accept who she really is, and to strive to heal and learn to accept and feel love.....

My Thoughts 
Dark Destiny is the thirteenth book in the Carpathian Series by Christine Feehan. I have read this book before but it has been a while since I have, and I have to say its one of my favorites. Its so emotionally compellling to the reader, that you can't put it down. Destiny is the kind of character that can almost break your heart, so easy to relate with, despite the fact that she can fight vampires, there is a side of her that doesn't believe in herself, but then she meets her best friend Mary Ann and then Nicolae her lifemate, and we start to see how she starts to heal and learns how to truly love and be loved. There were quite a few times that I cried, and at other times just laughing at the interaction between Destiny and Nicolae. Nicolae, is the kind of man any woman could fall for, and he is pretty dreamy in this book. Even though he can be controlling at time, and all Alpha Male, he takes his time with Destiny, more patient than most of the other males in this series. Overall this is on the top of the list in favorites of this series, of course it can be hard because I have loved every one of her books, however the story and the characters were endearing, and the plot thrilling, and I there wasn't one moment that I was bored, defintely a worthwhile read. A most emotionally empowering, engaging book that I have read in a long time, and I LOVED it!!!

Her heart was so full, she was afraid it might burst. She had never dared to dream she would have a home and a family. She had never conceived of having friends. Life might never be perfect, but she had Nicolae, and he would always understand those terrible moments when the memories crept out from behind the doors in her mind. He would be there to hold her and help her.
