My Review:
When Linnet MacDonnell was the youngest in her family, but now her father has decided to give her to Duncan MacKensie, a enemy to her father, as wife, despite her protests to the contrary. Throughout her young life, she is spirited but also has a gift for a second sight, which has prevented her from any man from wanting her, except for Duncan MacKensie who needs her gift more than he needs her, but is willing to marry her to know certain truths. At first Linnet is nervous around her new husband, who has made it clear he only needs her for her sight. Duncan MacKensie, after being betrayed, has doubts about his son being truly his son, so he needs the talent of Linnet to know the truth. When Linnet knows the truth behind Duncan desiring her for a wife, so knows she needs to get Duncan and his son Robbie to connect again once more, but she knows that it will much harder than she will ever realize, because she starts to realize that there is a lot more to Duncan than her first impressions of him, and knows that she could be falling in love with the man who has captured her heart. 

I found Devil In A Kilt to be the kind of historical romance that I desperately fall in love with. I just love Scottish Historicals, and this one was filled with adventure, passion and love. We have Linnet who is loved by all of her brothers, but her father would do anything to be rid of her, so when he barters her into marriage with his sworn enemy, she yearns for love and a place that is truly home, but knows that she may never find such a place, until she finds herself married to the Highlander Duncan MacKenzie, who just wants to use her for her gift. But when passion flares between them, she knows that there is a whole lot more potential than she ever realized would happen. Duncan after being betrayed, has drifted away from his son Robbie, whom he doubts was ever his son, but is desperate to know the truth. So when he married Linnet, he views her as a means to a end, however he never expected Linnet to be so beautiful and passionate, and finds the ice around his heart melting, both in her and in Robbie. I found this to be such a delectable romance, that I couldn't get enough of it. The plot, the characters, the emotions conveyed so vividly, wraps this lovely scottish romance into a gem of a read!!!

My Review:
Lady Calpurnia Hartwell has lived a life of always living by the rule book, never breaking any rules especially that in society, and yet she is still unmarried. So deciding that she wants some changes in her life, she writes a list of nine things that she wants to do, that she has always wanted to that she feels she has missed out on now that she feels that she is on the shelf; but because she is a woman, she is restricted to respectable activities. But as she starts crossing items off of her list, she starts to see that she has a partner in her list of daring things, who is none other than Gabriel St John, the Marquess of Ralston, who is too charming and wicked for his own good. But as the risks of her adventures escalates so does the passion that ignites between them, that starts to blossom into a love that will come up behind them and surprise them in ways that they never expected.

Nine Rules To Break When Romancing A Rake by Sarah Maclean, was purely wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed it and had it read in just under a few hours, I found it to be such a enthralling romance that had me resisting to ever putting it down despite the bruised elbows (since my favorite position is to read on my stomach) And I think one of my favorite things about their relationship is the witty interchange between the two and had me amused till the very end of the book. Also the plot was truly entertaining. We have Callie, who has always obeyed the society rules, which have brought her only loneliness and a yearning for dreams and desires and that fear that they will never be fulfilled. So she starts writing a list of things that no respectable lady would ever do, and would cause a scandal. Such as Fence, Attending a Duel, Gambling at a Gentlemans Club (where women are never allowed), but she somehow adopts a companion that protects her reputation yet steals sensual embraces that would cause anyone sensible to blush the roots of a carrot. Yet there is a strong connection between these two characters that are so enjoyable to see progess throughout this story that leaves the reader breathless with anticipation with every page turned. I truly have enjoyed reading this story and am looking forward to reading the next one in the series, I can hardly wait!!!! Sarah MacLean is such a remarkable writer into historical romance, that no one would want to miss out on!!!

Lover Mine just came out this summer, and I have just loved this series, but John Matthew has to be my by far favorite character of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, he is so unique and special and close to my heart. So eager to finally read his story!!!

I just love Julia Quinn, and the minute that I saw that this was on the shelves of the library, I just had to pick it up especially since its the most recent book from this wonderful author!!!

The Stone Prince is part of Imperia Series, and since i have yet to read this series yet, I am so excited!!! I have already started to read it and just love it so far!!!

Married by Morning is the final book in the Hathaway series, and this is Leo's book!!! I just love this author, every one of her books are captivating and purely satisfying!!!

Dawns Awakening is part of Lora Leigh Breeds series, which is such a steamy author!!! And who can resist such a cover right??? :)

The Darkest Whisper is part of the Lords of the Underworld series, and looking forward to reading Sabin's story!!!

Nalini Singh is such a treasure to read from, especially her Psy-Changeling series, which is by far my favorite shifter series that I have so far read!!! The cover alone is so enticing yet mysterious!!!

My Review:
Ashaya Aleine, has been separated from her son, and as a Psy, she is emotionless atleast to the Psy, but she has a great love for her son. So now because of that, she is forced to create something for the Psy that mean enslavement for her people. Then she manages to contact DarkRiver and they manage to get her son out and safe and integrated into their web. Now Ashaya has managed to hide herself from the other Psy, except for her twin sister, where Ashaya is met up with Dorian Christensen, a sentinel for DarkRiver. Dorian, a sentinel for DarkRiver, is out for revenge for the Psy, after his sister is brutally killed. But then he meets with Ashaya and knows that she is very different from the other, and there is a heated desire that is firing up between them that he can't deny, and realizes that she is his mate. Ashaya is overwhelmed with all the emotions that she is starting to feel, especially for Dorian whom at first she viewed as a enemy, but now is the one man that she knows she can't resist and doesn't want to let go of, but there is a danger that is rising that will put them all in danger.

Hostage To Pleasure is the sixth installment to the Psy-Changeling Series. I have just loved reading this series, I have always loved shifter series, but this one is one of my favorites to read. I found Hostage to Pleasure to be a sensational read, with such delightful characters. Ashaya, is a twin, but her sister is in a way demented, but has not much Psy power, but Ashaya is the only one out of the two that has broken "Silence". Even though her sister is her son's biological mother, Ashaya is his mother in every true way that matters. Ashaya is willing to do everything she can to protect her son, no matter the cost. Dorian, even though he is bitter at the beginning toward Ashaya, his manner toward Ashaya we see soften, where he starts the process of healing. Dorian even though he is part of DarkRiver, he has never been able to fully shift into animal form, he is one of the strongest of DarkRiver. As I was reading this one, I found myself taken on a ride of sizzling passion, alluring characters with a witty exchange, and a plot that will have you grabbing the hold of your seat to hold onto this mesmerizing installment to the Psy-Changeling series, that will leave you eager for the next installment in the series!

My Review:
Wild Fire begins with Connor Vega, who after some times, returns to the Panama rainforest. When he was called on a mission and seduces the daughter of a dangerous man,, he finds his mate, but only to betray her in the end, and knowing that he will always ache for her but will never see her once again especially after all of the pain that he has caused her. But he is shocked to discover that she is alive and has come to him for help, something he never expected. Isabeau Chandler, after falling in love with Conner and sharing the most intimate experiences with him, and then have him betray her, she knows she can never trust herself to open herself up to him again. But after Connor's mother is viciously murdered and children are kidnapped including his younger brother, she knows she needs his help to rescue these children who have been kidnapped by a monster, and knowing that only he can help save them, despite the costs to her personally,  but she is willing to sacrifice anything to save these poor children, who have no one else to help them. But sparks fly, as both Connor and Isabeau are working together toward a common goal, and heat and passion flare up in the wild rain forest, where they both discover that they still are in love despite the past hurts. Only love will heal both of their hearts, only when they choose to embrace it and take that leap of faith.

Wild Fire is part of Christine Feehan's Leapord series, and its been a remarkable journey to be able to read the books that she has so far written in this series. This is a remarkable author who has such a great talent for writing romance in the Paranormal world, and making it come truly alive and riveting for the author. In Wild Fire Connor is a Leopard as is Isabeau but she doesn't comprehend that fact. Her father she loved dearly and after losing him she blames Connor for the betrayal, but the passion that once existed between them is still vibrant now that they are together once more, although circumstances are different. Isabeau is also feeling confused, especially since her inner leopard is coming out, and inside she is terrified knowing that she is Connor's mate. Wild Fire is a remarkable adventure past betrayal and hurt, and learning of love and forgiveness. Christine Feehan has packed this novel with the best of the best characteristics of her fabulous writers, that astounds readers across the globe!!!

My Review:
Frannie Darling, having grown up on the streets with the Feagan boys, she stays away from men after a terrible incident that caused them all grief. Now she does the books for the Gentleman's club, she is also taking children off of the streets and placing them in a safe environment, most of them working for a devil of a man Sykes, who is ruthless with those that defy him. Knowing what these children have to go through, she builds a home for these children, where they have food, a roof over their heads, education and a loving and safe environment. So at Lucian and Catherine's wedding, she meets Sterling Mabry, the Duke of Greystone, who has her senses going off the wire, and sensations that she never thought she would ever be able to feel. Sterling Mabry, after returning home and assuming his position and taking responsibility, is all he see's, knowing he will never find the happiness his sister Catherine has found. But when he see's the beautiful Frannie Darling, who stirs up feelings inside of him that he never thought he would feel, but knows all he can offer her is a position in his bed. But never knowing that it was about to take him on a ride he never expected to enjoy, and to find a tender love that would brighten his bleak day to day life.

Surrender to the Devil by Lorraine Heath is the third installment in the Scoundrels of St James series. I truly loved reading Frannie's story, who is one of my favorites out of all the Feagan Children. Frannie, after one horrible night having her innocence taken away, finds healing after years, but her Feagan brothers and protectors have never forgotten, especially when she meets Sterling. But despite all their efforts, she finds herself falling for this handsome Duke, yet knowing she can never have him in the long term sense. Sterling at first seems cold and only holds feelings for his sister, caring for no one else. But after time passes, Frannie finds Sterling's inner character, who does care, especially about her, despite the way he attempts to hide it from her. But their tryst turns from all about to lust from a whole lot more than either of them expected to find. This was truly a remarkable love story, and Frannie and Sterling's story was sensational and had a emotional side to it, that left me fully satiated at the end. The plot was engaging, and the character came alive, with a heated passion that will surely heat up your windows. This was such a wonderful romance, and Lorraine Heath has done it again with Surrender to the Devil!
