Lusting For Covers (16)

Lusting for Covers is a meme found on TBQ so come and join in on this fun meme!!!

1- Take the graphic (left) to use on your post. Remember to give credit to the original host (TBQ).

2- Choose your own book cover that you've fallen in "lust" with in the past week. It can be new, old, a reprint, or even a book that is not yet out-- it's all up to you! If you find a cover that catches your eye, then showcase it on your blog, and let others see the pretty covers out there.
3- Copy the direct link to your own L4C post into the comment section on my post (when in doubt, use this link and then scroll down to find the post), and allow others to come and see what you picked! (OPTIONAL):
4- Besides posting the picture of the book cover you chose, it's nice to provide the book summary, title, author, or a website link for the book. It's not required, but it can help you readers' to add more books to their own list! A brief "Why I choose this cover" is also appreciated, but not required-------------------------------
My Current Craving For The Week
About Marriage Bed:

A marriage of deception

It was love at first sight for Lady Viola the night she met the dashing viscount John Hammond. Swept into a whirlwind courtship, it wasn't until after their vows had been spoken that Viola learned the shattering truth: Her beloved John had never loved her, had married her for her fortune . . . and worse still, he saw nothing wrong with that. Heartbroken, she vowed never again to let the deceiving scoundrel into her bed.

John never intended to hurt the headstrong beauty who has become a stranger to him. Now, after years of a sham marriage, he is in need of an heir, and John is faced with a luscious, intriguing challenge--seducing his own wife. He must persuade Viola back into their marriage bed, but this time, he may be the one to lose his heart.

Why I Chose This Cover:
Well I just have loved reading this book and this author is so amazing with her historicals!!! To me this cover portrays the kind of deep passion and intimacy that the reader feels as reading this book!!

  1. Renee,
Thanks for participating in this week's L4C! :D

I love this cover too! And I've only read one or two books by this author, but I remember enjoying both of them-- you are right, she knows how to write a good historical romance, and the cover portrays that as well!

Hope you have a good Labor Day weekend,
    Enjoy!
